besides your voice

besides your voice,
your face, your warm
palms, your heart
trembling when
whispers caress
my ear, flooding my
blood like a skilled
sculptor ready to
break the marble,
so that angels can
come out to take
my hand: - let’s go
my child, come,
let's fly to the
nest of stars,
in the air, crushing
your chest,
                       - let's go
this is just a dream

The Nature's Beauty Besides My Cabin

Through a hole I see
Moon and sea beauty collide
Inspiring my heart.

Chilled right by my side
I can now hear the waves sound
Hurling its spree.

Mountain at my left
Standing like pyramid
Bringing rays of hope.

Full moon is hiding
Behind cumulus thick cloud
Beauty shy my eyes.

There's no place else I'd rather be
Than right beside your side
The fact that that's indeed the case
From you I do not hide
I've loved you for a thousand years,
Forever and a day
And all I've ever wanted was
To try and find a way
To tell you how I've thought about
And just how much I'd love
To stroll down lover's lanes with you
Two hands inside one glove
Your head upon my shoulder
My arm around your waist
A pause to let a sunbeam
Illuminate your face
See sunbeams know just where to go
They know where beauty lies
And here this little sunbeam
Found beautiful blue eyes

Besides

Besides the lies
I accepted it

Besides the remorse
I encourage it

Besides the wickedness
I praised it

Besides the pain
I endured it

Besides the beatings
I wanted it

Besides the love
I resented it

Besides the love
I required it

Besides the joy
I buried it

Besides the happiness
I cut it

Besides the life
I ended it

You Besides My Heart

I got it that we were made to always
be just friends,
But you were more than that to me .
it was so pure that it was almost
forbidden.
forbidden that u could be mine
But i believed I have fallen for an angel.
The Angel that resides besides my heart.
That whenever I feel lonely , I turn next door right besides my heart.
and watch your beautiful smile
The smile that calms me down
And those perfect picture moments
present true you of no default.
I will be sitting right here with bucket
fill of chicken wings
for you my angel to come.

Besides Love and Its Fortitude

We long for arms to hug us
when nobody is willing to give up
a minute of their invaluable time;
a consoling embrace, a sympathetic look
can bring much empathy to our tears
and replace what others took
from us having stripped us of all pride,
but not of the unceasing will to rise!

Besides love and its fortitude,
everything else appears small;
we must declare it to all
and it will change hearts,
lifting them to another altitude...
becoming floating balloons!

We learned from mother
those incredible strengths
to confront life's strifes
and they became instincts
protecting our inheritance,
guiding us with prudence;
the older we got, the grayer
we saw the strands of our hair.

Besides love and its fortitude,
glory and power are the aspirations
of plebeians who weren't born to govern others
and feed their ego with conceivable anger:
knocking down everybody standing
in their way, woe to the one rebelling,
not complying with their rules of disdained platitude;
and certainly, death can be a sure thing as his fear.

Besides the Corona: Virus, That Is

I
while the airports and hubs of urban & urbane wane
television saturates itself with virus & old wives' tales
the city is still steeped in sin - by man's choosing

II
last night my town had hail, after weeks of rain
last year was all drought. Blessings 'midst the pain?
last shall be first says the Word - by free will choosing!

III
we picked up pock-marked plants, even veggies, this morning
hit by hail, yes, as I was marked by sin before repenting
MESSAGES? the same. the bible. sinners sin till the end

Besides Thee

A thirst in heart
A soul again to see
By moonlight-sweet,
Besides thee to lie
Side by side
Eye in eye
Hand in hand.
By morn's light-bright
Besides thee to wake.
Forever,besides thee
Wish I,to stay.

Besides, I Don'T Even Think That Way

write a poem
make it rhyme
catch a word
out of time
trap it
wrap it
serve it up?
have it read?
boxed like that
is it dead?
limit thought?
how absurd!
why do that
to a word?

Besides Being Holy Is a Father

Prophets describe God as a spirit dwelling in infinity,
transmitting thought of salvation and serenity
to anyone who's truly faithful and humble not leading a sinlful life;
even Noah, the holiest among men, wondered what He looked like!

Besides being holy is a father to us whatever our need maybe,
He allows anyone to enter His temple regardless of race;
He can be harsh when angry, forgiving to all including me...
come to His house, bring the purest heart and sing a praise.

The God of the Bible was a father to Jesus and now to us:
He listens to prayers and if we are worthy of entering His temple,
He'll answer them when our burden gets heavier and unbearable...
why many abandon Him by not letting patience work wonders?
