This week is bleak, the birds don’t sing
No sun, no rains, but greyness
Even the churchbells didn’t ring
Have they become atheists
The bellman and the bearded dean
And all the congregation?
In times like this to breathe is sin
No promise of salvation
Can take away the truth it fakes
And like a stubborn stem
Grows through the slab, the truth condemns
The order of the damned
So atheism’s a way to go
Believe in politicians
They must continue this old show
Which you can call fictitious
But wasn’t it meant to be as such?
Just ask the God, if you
Don’t think he is disturbed too much
With millions in the queue
That stretches out through centuries
Dead people want to know
What were their lives about, if this
Was meant to be a show
Beware the Ides of March, in case
The warning comes in time
If there is still a time to waste
You doubt it? So do I.

Now at my workplace, waiting for my corporate lead, and no sooner said there she was as everybody behind me being fellow workers--not working, before she reached the front desk counter, I turned quickly to them and told them to continue their obligations people are working, and with that said, they went back to work, and I turned back around and flights of a moment, sees her ...
Welcome Ms. Sanford/Isabel Sanford, of the "Jeffersons" sitcom, herself and her lady-in-waiting, she displays a sweet disposition as she fills out the guest registration. A few minor details, and lastly, mentioning the purpose that she's in the Bay Area, not so much the hotel, I hand her an envelope.
This Ms. Sanford, was left for you by San Francisco's Morning A.M. TV broadcast. The bellman will take you to your suite straightaway, Ms. Sanford, do enjoy your stay with us and if you have any further questions, call me, my name is ..., enjoy your stay Ms. Sanford.

dear Robert, much-loved friend of ours
intellectually gifted
reciting Bellman Songs for hours
radiant and with voice lifted
intellectually gifted
you lacked the talent to survive
radiant and with voice lifted
you left this world with forty-five
you lacked the talent to survive
too much fervour, too much wine
you left this world with forty-five
ignoring you were on the line
too much fervour, too much wine
farewell scene with long smile knowing
ignoring you were on the line
you went and left us plenty owing
farewell scene with long smile knowing
reciting Bellman Songs for hours
you went and left us plenty owing

Thomas Jeffrey Hanks
Mr. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks,
Passionately pursued his dreams by pulling pranks,
By smooth-talking fellow workers, this prankster cannot be found,
As Hollywood checked in, opened doors of opportunity and he's making ground.

*Tom and I formerly worked together in the mid to late '70s at the Oakland Airport Hilton Inn in the San Francisco bay area of northern California. I worked behind the hotel desk and Tom, who is a year older though we both graduated the same year, was a bellman there while attending Chabot College in Hayward.

Those F O U R Words
Those F O U R Hated words
Every woman Fears to hear
You...have Breast Cancer
I'm So Sorry, My Dear
You just sit and stare
While your Mind starts to blow
You, Close your eyes
Just to see your Life's slideshow
You Have...No Clue
The depth of Cancers ravage
But Cancers a word
That's already caused mental damage
My life, what will it be
Then, You stand up and say
I'm taking the Bull
And Grabbing those Balls
For...This is My Body
And...I'm taking it Back
So Cancer, Watch Out
I'm KICKING YOUR A$$

He was hung like Big Ben’s bell
From his walk, it was evident, you could tell
They would clang a chime
As he sang out a rhyme
The weight threw him off a bridge and was killed with a yell

Isn't it amazing
to reap what you sow?
Now harvest. Before, plow.
