Help! There are two of us in here;
one is ego, the other soul.
Save in deep sleep, ego prevails,
deflecting us from our life role.

Mind is the domain of ego
and soul’s abode, our glowing heart.
Discern with care, worthy hermit,
cause why head and heart stand apart.

These monsoon clouds, these rolling verdant hills
These gushing streams meandering through at will
These canopies of magnificent towering tall trees
swaying with the whimsical winds joyfully free
Beckoning me back where serenity reigns still.

We felt we had been to lied,
since boons we sought were denied
but since our heart was not pure,
this was God’s way to censure.

To imbibe the pulse divine,
nodes within form must align
with love, feeling not thinking;
our awareness, unblinking.

To be as such, thoughts must cease,
that with no demons to please,
ego cravings die in time
and then we heavenward

Soothe Strong

I’ve hated myself and gated my true self/
Tired I waited for health basics to shelve/
Take care of yourself during young ages to delve
Shake bare sore urges yearning numb phases to evolve/
Intake of a rare lore emerges /
In wake of we’re to lure resurgence /
I think not as they’ll plea what they have to plead to

Basics and Bicycles

My old bike is good for me,
It takes me from A to B
Times when I need to be alone
My bicycle and I on our own

Cars are fine for families,
Cruising along can be a breeze,
Cars are too expensive to run
Petrol prices are no fun.

Registration, Insurance, maintenance, and more
Cars can no longer be purchased by the poor,

Nothing new in the electrochemistry 
It no longer is a scientific mystery
Waves Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta, Gamma & Epsilon
Descending from buoyant ecstasy to a persona forlorn 

Zodiac signs & rainbow colours assigned to chakras renamed
Esoteric yogic techniques, exponents aplenty, all self-proclaimed
Fiery verbal duels, by many an argumentative eristic 
Each it seems is the ultimate mystic

I'm going back to basics
Tossing technology out the door
They say life is what you make it
I'm going to make it a natural world

The stars at night will be my candlelight
The open meadow my unmade bed
The Moonbeam will hold my calmest dreams
As I rest my weary head

When the morning peaks I'll have the mountain stream

Just the Basics

Flour, water, salt, yeast.

Staff of life,

When hungry, a feast.

I have stumbled and fallen 
over life , love and everything in between 
And after all that i've seen 
Its safe to say , I no longer bleed! 


You see I left my poetry

it used to be cool to obey the golden rule yet that went out the door in 64
open the door for your neighbor then you can chill on a different ice cream flavor
getting fat beats to the rhyme  at the rhyme as a reason

her gift of innocence. Just like a child,
unblemished...pure in body, mind, and soul...
