Back To Basics

I'm going back to basics Tossing technology out the door They say life is what you make it I'm going to make it a natural world The stars at night will be my candlelight The open meadow my unmade bed The Moonbeam will hold my calmest dreams As I rest my weary head When the morning peaks I'll have the mountain stream To provide me with cool drink And the berries from a nearby tree Will be what I daily eat I won't have any more deadlines To stress my life upon The only time that I will keep Will be the season of the Sun I will move when in the mood Will be my whole new attitude And sitting back relaxing Will be the hardest thing I do I'll carry on conversations With the animals of the wild I'm sure they'll make a lot more sense Than those, I've left behind If you think you'd like to join me There's no need to pack a bag I guarantee you'll be happy With the little that you have
