Shifting Seasons

The law of redemption is at work today,
God moves within us, shaping who we are.
Heaven is shifting in a redemptive way,
Winds and waves of change never stay afar.

God is alive in us, He is our rear-guard strong,
In crisis, purpose rises from the dust.
Put off last season’s garment worn too long,
Renew appropriately, in repentance and trust.

Rehearse divine promises, revisit faith,
The best identity within you now flows.
Rediscover God's thoughts for your life anew,
Enjoy His Presence, as heaven’s current grows.

Future boundaries now are being laid,
Shift from gleaning to owning what is predestined.
Stake your bold claim, let fear and lack now fade,
Transformation and fresh provision shall abide.

Your toenails show the change that is come to be,
Your fingernails reflect His radiant glory.
Your anointing spreads His perfume endlessly,
His Morning Spirit stirs streets with dancing story.

Keep pressing forward - others will arise,
Your testimony holds authority.
Your story leads with light before their eyes,
A beacon of divine maturity.

Excluded

Have you ever been excluded
From a party or event?
Maybe, you might have concluded,
Snubbing wasn’t the intent.

Still, to hear that folks will gather,
For a dinner, I’d presume,
And the hostess said she’d rather,
For a lack of food and room,

That there’d be no invitation
To include us on the list,
I am filled with indignation
And appropriately pissed.

At the moment I’m just chilling
In my cozy little house
And my time here I’ll be filling
By myself or with my spouse.

Guess it’s better I’m not going
To a place where it’s now clear
I would spend the evening knowing
I’ve been bumped to second tier.

Wheel of Emotion

Emotions are stroking,

Combing through my being.

Seeing them growing,

Now taking control of me.

My tongue acts appropriately,

A person I don't want to be.

Acting uncontrollably,

And then feeling sorry.

Emotions just grab ahold of me,

Running my reality,

Ruining what I thought to be.

Battling duality,

Challenging all of me,

Revealing what I could't see.

As energy affects everybody,

Emotions signal the party,

Attracting those just like me.

Trapped in a cycle of fighting me,

Repeating in my reality,

Creating problems unconsciously.

As the patterns dig deeply,

Deeper until you see,

Their reflection in reality.

Our reaction creates the wake,

Effecting the direction you take.

Repeatedly stuck in this wheel,

Storing emotions until we heal.

Attempts to defraud my
poetic values via
the varied poetic

My eyes were drawn to a perfect one
yet 'Im' turned out as a mere prefix-
seeing my error, I was in need
of a third eye

I thought this was it
but it was another
mistake, so I tried
to correct it

But I created a
problem that I
tried to fix

But it turned
into a mess
and as all

lead, to
a trial

And in truth
on the stand

I lied and on

The Spasm of the Soul

You see that valve beneath the tree. It is staring directly at Thee; you see the curb in the middle of the road, It is telling you how to be bold; walk a mile onward and look beyond the tree, you will see something that you have never seen, the wilderness lies beyond the sea and the devil lurks Inside the tree, look the bride’s maid are running after thee. Walk close to center stage and move slightly upstage left and look straight in front of you and you will see clearly how things should be. Stand alone in the center stage and examine everything closely and your intuition will guide you appropriately. That is where the devil always complete his round and he knows where destiny is bound; examine the stage through and through and face your greatest fear, go over the lines a hundred times and confronts the demon in front of you and your fluency will come easily and everything will happen naturally, you are the master of the script and no one can throw you off the ship, Jonah spend three nights and three days in the belly of the whale and when he came out he was not the same; you are the master of the stage.

May 6 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Chronicles 18-20

Key Verse – 1Chronicles 18:6 …Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO PRESERVES US

Praise be to God for preserving us by His:
Power ably alerting
Presence always available
Precepts absolutely affirming
Protection attentively awakening
Provisions appropriately abounding

1Chronicles 19:13 Praise be to the Lord Who
lets us do that which is good in His sight as we:
Sincerely fulfill His will
Strongly face worldliness
Serenely find His wisdom
Surely fix our faith upon His Word
Steadfastly flee from waywardness

1Chronicles 20:4 Praise be to the Saviour
for subduing our:
Fears by His courage
Flaws along His corrections
Faithlessness through His compassion
Failure around His cheer so comforting
Foolishness with His commandments. Amen!

Le Petomane

Joseph Pujol, Flatulist
1/6/1857 - 8/8/1945

He started working as a baker
And ended up being the same
But for nearly thirty years he
Enjoyed international fame.
Using his natural talent
For quite a long while
He entertained the elite
In his own unique style.

He could break wind at will
With superb sound control
Wore a special pair of breeches
With an appropriately placed hole
And, with a series of tubes
Could play tunes on a flute
Blow out a distant candle
Imitate a duck or coot.

He gave delight to millions
With his travelling show
Cheered and feted wherever
He was invited to go
He couldn’t compete with
The noise of the first Great War
So he retired back to his shop
To become a baker once more.

So, All hail le Petomane
The man who made of it an art,
And added respectability to,
The discreetly dropped fart.
Before crowned heads of Europe
At the height of his glory
Sadly the modern world has
Almost forgotten his story.

This LeftMind dominant
viral virtue
of practicing RightBody patience

Is a coverup
for feeling deep impatience.

Feeling impatient is not as hopeful
as exploring active curiosity.

Curiosity
about why someone,
including my own anthro-privileged self,
would default to live win/lose
competitively

When our healthiest,

have always grown choices to live

Passionate curiosity might kill the occasional cat;
but probably not more deadly
than dispassionate lack of curiosity.

Besides,
passionate curiosity can also be more fun
than boring impatience

More joyful,
than sad
mad
bad

More curiously glad
even appropriately win/win consenting adult/adult lusty

More sad/glad soulful
preferring mindful disciplines
like healthy therapeutic dances
and well-sung
resiliently brilliant love songs.

Premium MemberMy First True Love

Ahh my first love, I remember her well
Her name appropriately was Janice Valentine
Think it was Grade Two though not really sure
Tried so hard to be beside her in line

My head was spinning for the very first time
Wondering what this feeling was about
Had never felt anything like this before
So excited I wanted to shout

Competition was a guy called Glen Maidmont
But Janice had nothing to do with us
She lived far away, about three streets over
She didn't quite understand all the fuss

We always remember our very first crush
A few others have surely enticed
But the first is ingrained deep in my soul
Wonder if she's had a good life

Premium MemberThe Queen of Hearts

The Queen of Hearts is much prettier than I thought
She has children who have been pleasantly taught
He husband worries needlessly for nigh or naught
Her advice in February is appropriately sought

The Queen of Hearts has the king’s heart in a knot.
She is open and loving, forgiving, not a snot.
The kingdom appreciates her giving spirit a lot.
The Queen of Hearts is a treasure the king has caught.

Princess was a cat aptly and appropriately named.
She had gorgeous blue eyes not in the least tamed.
Her mother dressed her in silk gowns of royal azure blue.
She was treated like a princess, or a queen, also or too.

Premium MemberMeeting Marilyn and Jane

We are from the sixties, I am Marilyn, and she is Jane.
They are wearing leopard, tightly, and seem a bit insane.
We have painted our car appropriately the less smart one says.
I have no words for them. They are probably not from any res.

We are platinum blondes, Marilyn tells me, as if I am sight-impaired.
Sixties songs all the time, says the one whose laundry gets aired.
They tell of cheating husbands and the joyful road trip they are on.
A few more minutes of chatter, and these tell-alls are away and gone.

Did you hear what happened to Jane? I yell as they peel pink car away.
Marilyn gives me a happy wave; and they are out of sight that day.
They were something! My husband says, winking as if we have a joke.
They might be ridiculous, but do not deserve meanness from a bloke.
