Premium MemberAfternoons Aplenty

we spent the afternoon
throwing ourselves off castle walls
jumping into moats we spent
our time pierced with swords
having arrows hit us and many more
miss us in aching arms in shields
that's what we did sharing blood
and last breaths and mountains
didn't matter and forests didn't matter
we spent our afternoons dying
and that's what really mattered

Get Buried Aplenty Not, Die Empty

The delivery man when comes,
And brings in a hot well-foiled stuff,
We thank him, thank more than enough,
But, a thought if at all it comes
We scrub it off as if dandruff:
To her who daily serves you hot,
Expecting not so in return,
Do we ever thank her enough?
More oft than not, the answer’s ‘not,
And not whatso in mind might churn.

It’s like with unspent wealth to die,
Love, smile, wish, friendship might as lie
Un-spelt, or thoughts never acted upon,
A poem not penned, a painting not drawn,
A Beethoven’s symphony half-done,
Einstein’s experiments undone,
Let’s not die buried aplenty,
Let’s die spent-up and all empty.
Seeds are not to be stored un-sown,
But spread widely, everywhere thrown.

Let water flow, get widely used,
Stagnant, will it smell if unused.

Poet’s note: Let’s not die with a rich crop of good creative ideas never acted upon, without a wish or love expressed, a friend thanked enough, wealth weaselled for a future and never enjoyed...The land where you might be buried is not going to be enriched with all this stuff. Get buried aplenty not, die empty.

Premium MemberDivine Gifts Aplenty

Born into this world with nothing
when we leave it's all left behind
in our time here all that we have
is gifted from the one very kind

When we count up all our goods
home, friends, food come from above
as well as everything we call ours
it's truly gifted from hand of love

We can't number all we've received
from our birth to our dying day
such is the goodness of our God
praise we give to thankfully pray

So remember all we've received
is not ours to keep it's a loan
they are all divine gifts aplenty
God's given loving hand so shown

Charm knows a poise in simple peace,
Urge joy to seed deep calm that floats;
Rouse a clear voice in subtle ease,
Intent funds need to cross life's moat;
Observe the times where horror spread,
Use faith to scope the way of light;
Sense edgy rhymes in terror's dread.
Allow wise hope to put things right;
Play the game well with cards you find,
Live to see truth come forth to free;
Etch sanguine tell that draws bold mind,
Notice the proof in what will be;
Taste timeless wit as humour comes,
Yes lessons fit each strain you sum.

Premium MemberColours Aplenty

What kind of world would it be?
if colours were not existing
everything just drab and plain
nothing changing all consistent

What difference colours make
making life so full and bright
so many shades in each kind
colours so many what a sight!

Flowers are a colourful example
of the beauty that they bring
similar to rainbows in the sky
it makes the heart to sing

We all have our favourite
brown, yellow, pink or blue
even red, green, orange or white
whatever it is it's right for you

A colour change in our dress
makes us different how we look
so good to have loads of choice
make no mistake it's no fluke

We all look the same sitting on the toilet
We all look the same sitting in traffic
Nevertheless is nevertheless does
Just because you are on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the Menu
100% of anything is junk
I am impatient with stupidity
Counter intuitive is counter productive
No one can make u feel inferior without your consent
There are too many people in the world
Wisdom is the practical application of knowledge
Evolution through revolution negating convolution

Some are mine, some are not,
but a cerebral cord, oh yes, they should rought
that full cranial awareness is still upward thinking,
but cranial farts of the masses are snot.
Get with the program get out of your head
and see life's counterparts not measured in dread.
Do something different, skip a life automatic
get off your ass u me and live life pragmatic.
Forego social domestication that has shaped our existenance
and reach beyond to a place of resistance
be who you want to be what you are to be,
and don't settle for less F, the powers at Be.
