Colours Aplenty

What kind of world would it be?
if colours were not existing
everything just drab and plain
nothing changing all consistent

What difference colours make
making life so full and bright
so many shades in each kind
colours so many what a sight!

Flowers are a colourful example
of the beauty that they bring
similar to rainbows in the sky
it makes the heart to sing

We all have our favourite
brown, yellow, pink or blue
even red, green, orange or white
whatever it is it's right for you

A colour change in our dress
makes us different how we look
so good to have loads of choice
make no mistake it's no fluke

I loved your colors poem, Gordon. Don't you agree with me that the colors of God's sunsets and His sunrises have the most beautiful colors! He wakes us every morning with his colors and hugs us good- night with his darkening colors. Did you read my poem "Eavesdropping on a Goodnight kiss." I think you will like it. :)
