Make It An Eternity

Is this really what it seems?
Has by some miracle our past found a home in my dreams?
Can it be after all this time together we are again only in this lifetime.
Across centuries I held in my heart your promise to me,
How you assured me we’d be together that the spirits said it was meant
For us to be.
We were chosen to spend many lifetimes together and our love would have
No end.
You take my hand and together again we stand.
Together we will follow this new path that has been planned for you and me.
Knowing that how ever this length of time we are given we will make it
An eternity

Sleep For An Eternity

I want to sleep for an eternity.
Does that make me selfish?
For not caring for the impact I may have,
Or am I fine because I know the impact will be little.

The emptiness inside me grows,
As I feel the weight of being alone,
No one seems to care or see.

I want to disappear into the night,
And let the darkness be my guide,
For what's the point of carrying on,
When no one seems to notice I'm gone.

But is it selfish of me to think this way,
To wish to slip into eternal sleep and stay,
Or is it okay to feel this pain,
And long for a love that feels in vain.

The impact of my leaving may be small,
But the thought of it still feels like a fall,
For what about the people who might care,
And the love that I could share.

For An Eternity

What does an eternity look like to me?
Not empty,
Not hollow,
Not painfully unconditional.
I just want to live happily,
True love will find me.
And this time it will be
An honest eternity,
At least that’s what I hope and pray for.
One fill of happy memories
And a fresh start.
I will have clean pages
To chart out the wires of my heart.
Maybe someone will get right,
Some on jump start my broken heart,
And eventuality to my eternity.
I’ll find the one who will
Caress my heart strings
And play them like an art.

For An Eternity

If it should prevail,
that you might be born today?

May the spirit of your flesh,
Float on the wings of a leaf in the wind
In the aura of the breeze, the wind
Shall it be felt like a promise to yesterday's wisdom?

Flowing with the essence of a life yet to be lived,
Find harmony with the tremendous beauty of what lies ahead
To a life well deserved.

Shall it be you to be born today?
May the aura of life scent be upon you for an eternity!

Amazing how we can remember our past
This instant recollection is a total blast
Scenes of gentler times
When things all rhymed
Life was forever, for an eternity it would last

Hope An Eternity

you

                                                  can

                                             shut down

                                             completely

                                          my full active life

look at this page- these are poems

these are powerful lives, eternal living being

you can’t shut down these eternity with your boisterous concrete-mechanical life

because poetic supremacy will make me alive longest although your automatic and robotic life will pollute everything

For An Eternity

I #heart you, so don’t break me
I #need you, so don’t awaken me
I #want you and I echo empathy

Your way…your way…your way…
For an eternity day by day, today
I wish you were here with me, I pray

Insecure…
I need a cure…
I need to endure…
Left unsure…

For an eternity,
Set me free
For an eternity,
In captivity

But, I can’t stop,
Loving you eternally
Listening to rop (pop and rap)
Free me eventually

not lost anymore
with no pen or paper
got a notepad
on my phone
so maybe
it’s what I’ll use
to build my library
as I tour until
ended has an eternity

Recovery Will Only Take a Second For An Eternity

Hearts unfold time with no remorse

The ship of life sails with no chartered course

Love is lost with no glimmer of hope

Souls fade to shadow with no way to cope

Peace is made through pictured memories on a wall

Listening to a voice but death leaves no one to call

Home is a forever barren broken dream

Lost loves heard with the deepest blood scream

Searching in the mirror for you but only seeing me

Recovery will only take a second for an eternity

An Eternity of Thought

Mentation then, tear watered,
swells and garbs itself with presence—
at once to shout in strength
and pluck a cosmic string,
now restive, overstrung and tense.

Whispered tremolo swells
and in crescendo risen
transcends veiled mists of time
to stand, all seeing, astride
the sleepy gates of pearly dawn.

And, absent pause, endures
to span the velvet gulf
of light and truth and there to find
ineffable essence, which intermits
its fervent stir to calm.

And so of hopes and dreams and prayers,
suspend all doubt and hesitation,
for these with purpose-driven urge
merge with an eternity of thought
and we the authors of its might.

Dedicated to our dear and treasured poet and friend: Sarai Romani.

An Eternity

To speak of an eternity is to visualize your heart, one clear as a window -
Meant only for me to glance into
To come alive in your arms of serenity is to breathe warmth into my soul
Some wait a lifetime to feel the joys we shared together
And I am filled with gratitude in waves from the heavens above
Silvery bells of music chime a sweet tune
As water is to rocks, a partnership of comfort rushing to its destiny
Man needs woman where they bond in the richness of giving
Woman invites man in a passionate moment but it endures years of devotion
Loves blazing jewels, a treasure to who keeps and cares for it
The crystal throne clustered in the eyes of a lover’s journey
Trembling free on an oasis of a faithful trip to integrity
Echo the gifts wondrous and pure of a man to woman matched from God
Love is for an eternity

Our Love Could Have Been An Eternity

As time shakes its evil hand toward me

I know the extent and drop a sorrowful tear for thee

I awaken in the future from a wonderful dream

I call for one last moment with you but the fleeting sands wont deem

My heart drops as I wearily look to the past

Hoping the hands of the hour will make the memory last

To give you and I one perpetual last chance

But the grandfather clock has done its final dance

As I sit and stare at fates face always unkind

Forever clinging to a far hopes key rewind

Learning the pain of being trapped in a moment

The ticks grow louder in the reality of the present

The seasons have turned and changed and I can see

Knowing the age of our love could have been an eternity

Friend For An Eternity

HOW FINE IT WOULD BE,
        YOUR FRIEND FOR AN ETERNITY

LIVING UNDER THE SAME BLUE SKY,
WITH YOU NOT SO FAR AWAY, NEARBY.

If Only For An Eternity

If we hold on to us for an eternity, time may seem short. Time through our lives is love
in our hands. Being and believing in our love. If we hold on tight through our lives, we
may find eternity in our love. Meaningful time if only a short time in eternity, our life
together lives eternally in love.
