Have we lost our first love for Jesus Christ

O Gracious and Holy Almighty God and Everlasting Father, Have your redeemed children lost our first love for Thee? Is your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, no longer taking His center stage and rightful place in our all too hectic lives? Don't we know when it was the last time that watery tear drops Freely flowed from our eyes, when we worship and praise you? When we see and hear lost souls come to salvation in Jesus Christ? Do we stand, sing and rejoice along with the heavenly Angels? Over just one soul snatched from total destruction! Are we doubled minded souls and worship you with mixed emotions? Do we worship and praise your holy name with 100 percent devotions? Are our minds just freely drifting away and paying no attention to the Words of knowledge that we hear with only half opened ears? Do we have one foot inside your kingdom of heaven and the other one Fully anchored and planted in this perishing world? For we brought Nothing into this present world and we shall take nothing out of it. Will we hear the judge of the whole world say,"Depart from me you Workers of inequity for I never knew you!" Have we been recaptured by the world, the flesh and the devil? If so we need To both repent of all of our sins even 'so called little white lies.' If we confess Our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins even to them who believe in His name. Is God's holy word verily a lamp unto our feet and a lamp unto our Paths? Are we just going through the motions by keeping our eyes firmly fixed On our cell phones and/or social media? Thus carrying our own miniature gods with us even in our sleep as some of the younger generations are doing! Remember when Moses asked the children of Israel? "Who is on the Lord's side?" Remember Joshua's closing address? "Choose you this day whom ye shall serve, But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!" When have you ever felt the Holy Spirit was silently prompting you in His still small Voice,"And where will you be spending the rest of your eternity?" Is Jesus Christ Standing on the outside of your hearts' doors patiently knocking and pleading with You to open your heart's door and invite Him inside so that He might have fellowship And a real genuine heart-to-heart relationship with you? Soon, every knee that is in heaven, on the earth or under the earth will bow and every tongue confess "that Jesus Christ is Lord!" If you are already under the earth it will be too late! Call upon the Lord today!
