To My Ap

Let me start without an apology
Because you, honey, need not be in apiculture
Every second you bee apiece apiary
As I fall for your rich honey droop apace

Take me to space if you must but never cause apathy
Because you dug in my heart with a never closing aperture
And when in your presence I fumble on words like one with aphasia
Darling the gospel you preach to me makes you an apotheosis of an apostle

Sometimes your therapy I take like you were an apothecary
Or maybe you are but again you make me aplomb
Knowing fully well you're the apostrophe
That omits my imperfections like an apparition

Let me make an appeal
Because if I don't all this might not be applicable
So I appreciate your every applause
As I apprehend
This love you shower me with a posteriori

Premium MemberElevated Being

In what way will we understand this?
Dopamine candy, groping, stoking doses
Fully arousing in deepest clarity.
Circular selves,
Porous places in and out,
Echo and shout.

Interior spaces
Glowing, fading traces.
Some scary faces,
Some easy embraces.
Liquid, feedback lucid looping,
Temporal and psychic standing,
And stooping, regrouping.
Ordered by silent commanding.
But no one is demanding.

Observer and possessor,
Obsessor and transgressor,
Cybernetic controls,
Systems in parallel.
entangling pacing realms,
quantum ghosts in pell-mell.

Wonder is never childish enough
Until it is sufficiently old.
What lives and deaths
Must be breathed and passed?
In what way will we understand this?

Out

People lashing out,
People cashing out,
People looking out,
People booking out,
People wearing out,
People staying out,
People growing out,
People freaking out,
People shouting out,
People rubbing out,
People knocking out,
People shopping out,
People shooting out,
People opting out.

Time running out.

Premium MemberLights Legacy

Lavender light shines laughingly
Listening longingly to loud language
Luring lush lies toward listless
Lurches of lasting lore which
Lives to lighten hearts with love
Loosing lurid hues of lilac lace
Leaving loss to line the lodge
Laughing luxuriously through lips
Lined lovingly with lasting leisure
Lighting life in luminous legitimacy
Lifestyles living out their legacy

Alliterative Assertion

Although amateurs are annoyingly apt at aping another’s avocation,
All artists accord another’s art acceptance,
As any artwork asks appreciation,
And after all, all artists are allusive, anyhow.

Needed air to breathe theirs is in ration
alien, negative, nostalgic nation
alien, new, noisy nation in action
Contracting biochemical intergalactic reaction
Travels in space alien, natural, nasty nation
Crash lands on earth
alien, nothing, numb nation this alien nation invasion

Alliteration rain and sunshine--

I’ve gotten caught in the rain again
Coming home from school was sunny alas.. the
Rotten, rich Rain or silly, single Sunshine
Romantic, ruthless Rain or smooth, sweet Sunshine
Has donned and poured on me again

Color Green

Green crystalline neon green that glitters glistens gleems glams and glims in the dark like glow in the dark stars.

In Kew Gardens I feast on
daffodils and swans and honk-
ing geese in turf protection mode
and one spectacular show
from a strutting peacock’s tail,
its color chart exploding
against the day’s gray weather.

On warmer days Kew is packed
with mums and dads and kiddies
running about or being pushed
in prams. Today’s marginal
weather has cut the numbers.
I am drawn to a park’s promises
in crowd depleting weather. .

In youth I’d sit on a bench
beneath a chestnut tree and feel
fully protected from rain
by the natural umbrella
of thick leaves above my head
or, barefooted, tramp through wet
grass after the midday storm.

In the misted gray of not
quite Spring Kew Garden isn’t
in full bloom but I can feel
the promise of warmer days and,
with luck, the persistent need
of a peacock to impress
his ladies with the full bloom
of his magnificent tail.

Maple trees on both sides of Nineteenth Street
		closed down the evening sky.
In a slight uncovered slice a single star
was made to burn the brighter
		by this focusing framework.
I wonder, were your drapes drawn not quite tight
to burn your beauty on the night?
