Armistice

NOVEMBER 2022

Rightly so, the poppies flood
Early in the winter sky
Merrily stood in field, and this
Existence of mine has passed by
Maybe they'd watch us contend
But are authorities ever sober?
Early now, in Winter's sky
Realise how they owed her

Unwillingly ignorant to the loss, they'll be
Scorching their retinas, a veil of red

Victories fought and won through perils,
Enemies vanquished by the brave and strong.
Triumph earned through the will to win
Eager for Freedom’s flag to raise.
Rejoicing as liberty’s anthems ring.
Assuring tomorrow’s children are free
Never surrendered to tyranny’s chains.

Premium MemberMemorial Day

Many men and women have lost their lives in war,
Engaging in battles far and wide,
Making it safe for you and I.
On this day each year, we take the time to,
Remember their sacrifice.
Invocations will be offered,
At ceremonies proffered,
Laying wreaths and decorating graves.

Duty bound heroes gave their all.
A grateful nation pauses to reflect,
Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Respect was Aretha’s request
Every good soul deserves the best
She lived her life
Pure and right
Ever honest and true
Creating music for me and you
To celebrate her life and our memories of her.

Precious Memories

Photograph can hold thousand memories
Recalling the time that we tend to forget
Even recalling sounds and smell forgotten
Childhood memories are instantly recalled
It amazing how we recall what we forgot
Our thoughts we can't contain emotions
Usually we just want to recall happiness
Sometimes we are face with the sadness

Maybe we never really ever forgotten them
Even in life hustle and bustle they are there
Moved aside because it what we face daily
Our thought rekindled by those happy time
Revealing to us who we are and we were
It weird when some events which were sad
Eventually became what is our happiest
So cherish each and every single memory

Memorial Day Tribute

Memorial Day Tribute

Memories of the Men and Women, who served,
Emotional tributes so well deserved.
Moments of solitude with thoughts preserved,
Outpours of love so vividly observed.
Revolutions of dangers you so bravely swerved,
Inhibitions and fears suppressed and reserved.
Always ready to protect, even the undeserved,
Loyal to a fault, with energy conserved.

Dedication and valor are the pins you ware,
Attributes of service, loyalty beyond compare.
Your selfless acts of duty, always remembered through prayer!

~Lighting A Candle~
(Word / Sentence Acrostic )

LIGHTING a candle for all those who have died
A most thoughtful and kindly request done, since lighting a
CANDLE is the least, we can do,
FOR those who have sacrificed their life and all, so
THOSE of us can live in a better place.Let’s remember those fallen heroes
WHO have died in all the wars, who,
HAVE fought so bravely in the name of love, peace & freedom and
DIED.Let's never forget it and so let's pray for World peace.

My very humbled tribute to all the fallen war heroes.

Premium MemberChildren Are Our Future

Pick up your rifle obedient child
Live a complete life in just a few days
Under your Sergeant's command
Curl your finger around the trigger
Kill with an unrepentant glee

I witness the hate that coarses through your veins
Seeping into you with the clarity of a true believer

A moments hesitation will not stand in your way

"Be all that you can be!"
Everything has prepared you for this day
Tighten the ammo belt around your waist
Tomorrow you will be hailed as conquering son
Empty your guts upon the expectant soil
Red poppies will sprout from the acrid soil

We will cry out to you promising Justice
Ordering the next child to the front of the line
Repeating the sins of all our fathers
Death meanwhile, gladly accepts our gifts!

Again

It has passed too soon
So again will be good
It can even change the looks;
Sooth all the wounds that oozes of pus
Eat all the pain forever

Say it again to these ears blocked by high waves
Do it again I want to see
Maybe this time I shall see;
Make a scenario that I will understand

I wanna keep with me
This time is different
How I wish he would shout at me
How I so long your presence
Where did you really go?
Where do the meek go?

I wanna get it this time
Tell me the future you planed for me
Tell me how far you would gone
This is the time to say it again
Say it now while you the opportunity
Leave a souvenir that I will keep
Say something to my open ears
Lift it from me now
Open your mouth once again
Let it all out to me

Again and again
I wanna listen to before I too fall
Beat me up atleast so that I can feel pain
I feel your aggression today
I want you to show me you’re secret

What is it that I have to prove?
I want to reach you and say;
You are mine, you are my father
Nothing will ever be the same.

Heaven- Memorial Day

 Home to brave souls,
Entering a world of their own.
Admiration shown to those who served with pride.
Vets who died fighting for what they believed was right.
Excited to have given freedom to our land.
Nationally we gather to celebrate the lives lost and lives still here.

Thank you to all our vets
