4Th Of July Poems - Poems about 4Th Of July

On the 4th of July

Today, they’ll fire up the grill
For burgers, hot dogs, ribs
And hungry guests will gather ‘round
To point and claim first dibs.

I will not be among them,
Though I’ll not be too forlorn;
My husband mashed potatoes
And made chicken and some corn.

At night there will be fireworks
But we will not attend.
We’ll watch a Netflix series
Where we’re

JULY IN AMERICA

July in America in 2025, so exciting, to be in July, starting our month off with a bang.
Lots of bangs from fireworks, people have already started to celebrate.
Celebrate our country independence, our holiday that we cherish.
The red white and blue, we celebrate, and remember this month in history.
To our amazing patriots,

Premium Member4th of July in my Family in the Fifties

We used to celebrate the fourth of July with our cousins.
Barbecuing food, and attending the parade up town on the square.
Sometimes we decorated our bikes with streamers and rode in the parade.
My cousin’s cousin was in the parade, as a queen once; that was nice.

Our families got along well, and my Daddy liked being with

For Those Who Celebrate The 4th Of July

We need to remember our heritage and the reason we celebrate the 4th of July.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Their story. . .

Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and

The 4th of July celebrates the passage of Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.
Have the congress and the USA forgotten about that? Have individuals forgotten about that? Well, I personally feel that we should all go back and review it again and again.
We MUST remember that Freedom comes from

THE 4TH OF JULY

It is the fourth of July
The sky is all lit up
With sparks across the sky
Freedom is what it's all about
A day to set aside
And have one big celebration
It's for our independence
That this country fought for
Every day there is a threat
From keeping our enemies away
From our doorstep
With hot dogs and hamburgers
Cooking away at the grill
Please stop

Dusk
they flock
and see sparks
light up brilliant
colorful fireworks
in darkest dark ; red, white,
and blue as our star and strips
waves in the chill air arousing,
flickering a blaze of excitement,
patriotic American spirit.

Tragedy On the 4th of July

A 17 year old boy put a bunch of fireworks on his head.
The fuses were lit and when they exploded, he was dead.
His mother was angry and tried to have fireworks banned.
But there was something that his mother didn't understand.
The fireworks weren't the only things to blame.
The boy's ignorance got him killed and it was

A Sunny 4th of July

Sadly, I have been forsaken;
Every shady bench is taken.
Sunny spots are up for grabs.
I sit down while keeping tabs
On nearby seats which are in shade,
With odds against me, I’m afraid.

Still, there is a little breeze
Provided by surrounding trees.
Boats upon the river glide;
I am glad to be outside.
Fireworks tonight I’ll see
Indoors, on screen, with cool a/c.

Premium Member4th of July Carnival

I can hear the screams of happy children a block away from the square
It is the fourth of July, the only day we have a carnival in our town
The tilt-a-whirl and the Ferris wheel are in their usual places.
How they manage to do this the same way every year is astounding.

Barkers are begging us to

Premium Member4th of July In Dubai

Of course it would be the notorious Fourth of July
Here I am, a tourist, wandering around completely lost in Dubai
Waiting for Greek salad which I have always wanted to try
Wishing my friend Duno Brown would come past, by and by.

The prices of the food here are for the exclusively rich.
I fit in more with

Is there anything that frightens me?
What do you do daily?
I'm not afraid of my mother's tears, are you?
I'm not concerned over the ending of my fantasy.
I'm not worried.
I'm afraid of a moon that doesn't shine at night for her.
I'm scared of a sun that doesn't rise in the morning for her.
I'm terrified of her land.
I'm
