Notes About The Poem

Inspired By: Andrea Dietrich  Written on 7/7/2023

4th of July Night

Dusk
they flock
and see sparks
light up brilliant
colorful fireworks
in darkest dark ; red, white,
and blue as our star and strips
waves in the chill air arousing,
flickering a blaze of excitement,
patriotic American spirit.

You have a lot of fireworks on your feast day. But we outdo you, we have fireworks every weekend. Each parish would not be a feast without fireworks. I prefer them to go to church. A fine poem. Best for a win. Hugs xx
