war veterans who fought for us cringe
PTSD makes this a night of horror for them
4th of July fun for others

How dare that Court grant Hispanics rights?
Mariachi bands
Will ruin Trump's plans

HAPPY 4th of JULY to all my American friends!
God spilt wine on the evening sky.
Wiped it with his hand
and blurred together
blue, red and white.
And I?
Admire the view sitting at the window,
wearing a cold crown made out of stars.

No day is worth living, my friend,

Each moment God's work we do:

dog furious
cat disappears
4th of July fireworks
Week three
Incessant bam bam ban
BANG! BOOM!
fingers being blown off
Veterans hiding under beds
Worse time of the year
if you ask me
or my
pets
Too many kabobs
to skewer
plus bone-dry ribs.
Me? I’ll stay
with pink lemonade
and watch
the turbid sky
and watch
the stars reload
And so study
serious stockades a
stick up their collective
sixties memories
home town, Iowa
I was just a kid
riding upside down
on a loop-da-plane
4th of July
carnival ride
my pigtails fly
upside down sky
loving it
fuzzy blurs
screaming now
joyful
thrilling
fun
Happy 4th of July, all my Yankee friends
All us guys celebrate with you, your day of independence
Two countries side by side
Stand tall beaming with pride

We are fools we spend money to make others rich
They do not care about the heart they only care about money
We are all fools! But,
What fun is life if your not foolish! :-)
Dusk
they flock
and see sparks
light up brilliant
colorful fireworks
in darkest dark ; red, white,
and blue as our star and strips
waves in the chill air arousing,
flickering a blaze of excitement,
patriotic American spirit.

Celebrate barbeque with good

That 12:00am hits let’s say happy
4th of July.
You should see the Vikings fan at Christmas I was told!
The crazy guy they pointed out was wearing horns of gold.
On each horn this October was perched a jack-o-lantern too.
I wondered if on the 4th of July he wears red, white and blue.
The mighty stars I asked to tell me where does the destiny of Man lie
"What the future holds for him into his heart is found" was their reply!
