The Bride
On the wedding
The Bishop co-ordinating
Called in the groom
Only awaiting the bride
Hymns going up in the air
Half hour passed
And yet she is unarrived
"What is delaying you?"
The groom yelled at the Bishop
"Your bride isn't here"
With a dimple from the groom's cheek
Loke side way at his bride
"He has long arrived
I am gay"
dated May
An Unexpected Proposal
A walk through the forest
So lightly and fair
Puts friendship to the test
He'll surely be there.
Meeting under the tree,
So great and so old
As she arrives to see
That he was quite bold;
For looking spies him there
On one bended knee,
Not a look of despair
But happy he'll be
When she lifts him back up
his face in her hands
Then her lips do his brush,
she makes him her man.
Will and Kate
There is a wedding in old London town
A handsome man and his radiant bride
Ivory silk made up her graceful gown.
A merry throng had gathered in the street
To see the carriage in which they would ride
They cheered to the rhythm of marching feet
The bells are ringing out the happy news
To tell the world a prince now has a wife
With waving flags of red, white and blues
The man who shall be king has found his queen
And together they stand in love and life
As one to face the joys as yet unseen
There is a wedding in old London town
The bells are ringing out the happy news
Taffeta, Lace and Silk
A vow of lies I should never have said,
Two words I wish I’d saved for me and you;
My wasted innocence on the wedding bed
Defiled the words of love that say ‘I do’.
A distant regret now haunts my mind, you see,
While watching you walking down towards me;
My vision of taffeta, lace and silk
Tainted by a past of the devil’s milk.
I seek your smile beneath the bridal veil,
My comfort before promises are made
And I give my heart as regrets now fade.
Later when I sip from your holy grail
And yield to the power of loving spells
I recall the joy of our wedding bells.
A Wedding
At a church wedding
All the guest arrive
The pew's are all filled
With the families
Everyone anxious
Waiting- for the bride
Flower girls dresses
Are white an purple
Now the music starts
Bride maid's dressers purple
They walk down the aisle
One bride maid teary eye
her tears are flowing
Losing control she sobs
A few tears are shed
Only she knows why
Everyone knows her
She is known to cry
She is so well known
For her emotions
She has a nick name
It Is The Emotional Bride's Maid
Where Angels Go
Two doves perchèd upon the throne of God
Fore'er indebted in wedlock'd bond.
True love cannot be measured with a rod.
Like ripples on the Lord's celestial pond.
Bouquet of wild aster both shall pick
In gardens, both share harvest of their love
with children who will compliment them quick
We bless them both with light from Heav'n above
As love has taken hold of man and wife
And may that bond be blessèd with glad cheer
Together they will start their Christian life
And let us not shed ev'n single tear
Love's purity is like the fallen snow
Part not until they tread where angels go.
Wedding Banquet
Words in a vow for bride and groom,
Embark with zest a journey quest;
Dance here and now that happy bloom,
Deep lovely fest to live your best;
In-sync with feel of mind and heart,
Notes that attest a song of grace;
Glimpse and reveal a couple's start.
Blessings to vest you face to face,
Abide love true in all seasons;
Niche faith and hope in warm embrace,
Quiz love's bright hues beyond reason;
Urge sculpts bold scope to meet life's pace,
Ebb and flow here in lovely chimes,
Touch love that steers warm space and time.

Now and Forever
Please wait for me until I can be, right there by your side.
Our life begins, our new life awaits,
When we step through those chapel gates.
To take the vow to marry thee,
When I get down on bended knee.
I pledge my love,I would give my life,
The moment you said you would be my wife.
Tomorrow when our new life begins,
And we exchange are wedding rings.
After family and friends are gone,
And we are left here all alone.
I will take you home so we can be
Man and wife, for the rest of our life,
For all eternity!
A Record Traces Ev'Ry Year
a kyrielle sonnet
Our lighthouse casts its light to guide;
a role it plays in fam'ly pride.
Through many times of gath'ring near,
a record traces ev'ry year.
In wedding dress up Trundle's stairs,
our lens first caught it unawares.
Our fam'ly's seen through photos here,
a record traces ev'ry year.
The cam'ra toiled as fam'ly grew
preserving mem'ries we pursue.
Our albums shine like chandeliers,
a record traces ev'ry year.
Our lighthouse casts its light to guide
a record traces ev'ry year.
