Word prompts poetry
#1. Choose two words from each list to use in any way you choose in your poem. Tenses can be changed if necessary .
#2. Write a poem using the( 6 ) words you choose from the lists.
#3. Write your poem in one of the two most popular forms,free verse or rhyme.
#4. Keep line count between 10 and 30.
#5. Please do not enter poems that don't adhere to these contest rules or poems crafted using AI.
#6.** At the top of your poem, please write the word choices you've made to incorporate in your poem, or bold or underline them in the poem.
#7. Title your poem “National Poetry Month”. Of course you may change the title after the contest has been judged.

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
