What to Submit?

NEW limerick, a two-stanza poem, any topic

Syllable count must be 9 9 6 6 9  OR  8 8 5 5 8, same count in both stanzas.

The meter in lines 1, 2, and 5 must be the same in both stanzas.

The meter in lines 3 and 4 must be the same in both stanzas.

Reminder: The rhyme scheme for a limerick is a a b b a.

Funny but not filthy--Okay?  :-)  (A poem can be a bit bawdy, off color, without being filthy.)

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
