1 original, poem on the theme of A song of hope
Only lyric form is acceptable. A NEW SONG OBVIOUSLY
Listen to Vangelis Chariots of fire, use it as inspiration, it is an uplifting song so the song it inspires should be uplifting.
Since this is a songwriting challenge there needs to be structure. I let it go last time but if it is formatted as a poem it will not place.
Here's the structure
Verse 1 Verse 2 Chorus Verse 3 Verse 4 Repeat chorus
Please separate each verse and indent the chorus differently so it stands out as separate from the verses.
A simpler model also acceptable is 4 -verses and a repeating refrain of at least 2 lines.
The more emotion and hope reflected in the lyrics will win.
Also it may be obvious but try to format the lyric to the melody of the song.
Prizes
First Prize, Honor
Second Prize, Honor
Third Prize, Honor
Up to a total of twenty multiple placements.
Considering the degree of difficulty I may only place ten as I'm not sure how many quality writes this will create!
