Thank you very much PD. Your appreciation of my poems is very generous, and I do not take it lightly or for granted. I also take heart to what you and Ruben mentioned below, and would hate to think that anyone has been given a hard time for being a judge. I do know everyone looks for different things, and has different tastes... and I have plenty of N/As to prove it. But I'm thrilled when someone feels what I have intended my words to express. Thank you very much ! My congratulations to everyone :)

I do believe these contests give us a chance to capture moments in the past and see our poems with a new perspective. I know most I have tweaked before entering.

Note to Ruben...In the past, I was afraid to place Carrie or Andrea, Broken Wings......because I know what others think. (still did and do).. I should have never done that to anyone. I even asked a certain poet not to join my contest (Leo) because she's a hit in my book anytime. Was that fair to her? She still sneaks one in my contest every now and then. I can say that about others, but I'll just bite my tongue.
