Like the descriptive choice of words beginning with the same letter and reminds me when some of us would write coded poetry in my school days and have to break the code with the clue in the poem.

I love the alliteration! Lovely evocation of winter. You even worked in a rhyme. A lot of emotion for four short lines. As usual I am a year late in commenting.

Hi Jan, congratulations on your win in the contest. Excellent alliteration Jan. I do love the snow and you have brought those snowflakes to life for me. I started to picture such a wondrous scene.
