Sensual ABCs Judged

I need a cold shower now! Everyone did so well with what is a very tricky form, made doubly difficult by the subject matter. I even tried one myself, and I'm glad I did because it made me appreciate what a big ask it was. The coupling of the ABC form and the sensual theme was always going to make for a bit of a strange hybrid! I was very impressed with the entries overall, but I whittled them down to thirteen winning poems, which were my personal favourites. In many cases it came down to just the odd word here and there. Many thanks to all who participated and a big congrats to my thirteen winners! :)

this was a gargantuan test for me, charlotte.. thanks for keeping me awake for 18 hours trying to figure out a different poetic route for your challenging theme and form...i enjoyed the process!.. cheers to all who joined.. huggs

Charlotte, thanks for hosting the contest. Making an ABC flow well is not an easy thing to do; however, my big concern was going overboard with the subject. I had mine for about 2 weeks debating on whether to post it or not. Thanks again

Thanks for my placement, Charlotte. You are a challenge for me....I try so hard to get to that top spot. Closest I've ever gotten was a 2nd place. I'll keep trying. Finally managed with Andrea.... ;) Thanks ever so much for having me on your list. This was a tough contest, but I really worked hard on it. :) Congrats to all your winners. Sensuality is a favorite theme for you and me....It was hard to make it fit into a stringent form...HUGS, sweetie. You ROCK!

It was a very difficult challenge and I am happy I made the list, Charlotte. MAny of us started sounding like carbon copies of each other because we all tended to use similar sensual words represented by the various letters. haha!! congrats to all.
