The Abominable Snowman
May try to melt into obscurity,
Yeti remains a glittering star
On the ecological ladder,
After a very, very long climb.

Yes indeed:
Bigfoot is a leg-end 
In its own time!

Has Anyone Seen A Yeti - Yet

Has anyone actually seen a yeti... yet?
There are some who say these folks are a bit unsteady
Though the truth is a strain
Open minds must remain
So no matter how outrageous for anything I'm ready

Space Yeti

It was a red space Yeti.
Claimed crazy teddy.
They like shandy lime
on planet number nine.
Ten thousand years in time
Before his claim may be denied.

Snow Yeti

Will a Snow Yeti,
eat many Good and Plenty.
While sneaking up on You.
Well, that may be true.
But you'll  hear them coming.
They play the Didgeridoo.

Yeti In Snow

Yeti in snow, the greatest camouflage
His winter substitute for ghillie suit
Some think him an abominable brute
He means no ill will to their entourage
These beings here that came to sabotage
So fades into the white, all but his snoot

He prepares inside ice cold embassage
In case they infiltrate his cave en route
For his plunder of crystal

Special Yeti

They claim it was a Yeti,
And without any proof.
Well, isn't that Special,
Another Dude in a Suit.

What Was That

what had he glimpsed? A hairy black gorilla?
He was mesmerized as he stared into the forest.
It had moved as gracefully as a ballerina, but with longer strides.
What is it? His hunting partner asked.
He shook his head. I don’t know, he lied, knowing it was a Yeti.

Yeti Nightmare

Yeti came down and stuck out his tongue
Ugly, black and spotted, it looked like dung.
I had bad nightmares
My formative years
For this awful memory forever clung

Nessie Lifted Her Head Today

Nessie lifted her head today for just a second.
I saw it, and thought ‘there she is!’ black skinny neck.
Black face, looked dinosaur-like.  I ran flat out toward her.
Was it the “real” Nessie?

She dove down hard, did a disappearing act.
I lifted my green wading pool, looking underneath.
Thinking there was going to be a deep cavern,

Actually saw the elusive Yeti last week
At Walmart buying a new pair of skis
Not at all out of place
Next to an alien from space
Let Yeti go first in line as survival I seeked
