Blessed With Happiness

This guy has never found
and felt true ecstasy,
only casual affairs
that lasted for the shortest while
to fill his void, hurting inside;
other guys find intimacy,
and satisfy their desires,
even time slows down
and shares their victory!

Who really are the lucky ones
blessed with happiness?
It could have been us:
had we not told those big lies!

I had sleepless nights
without sighs,
without hands
touching mine;
how horrible was
the empty feeling
while hugging
the comforting pillow,
not kissing
anybody's lips!
Ah! She left her goodbye note
on that swaying pillow:
such sad words, I won't quote!

Wasn't love always
meant to be shared by two
who loved roses
dripping with gleaming dew?

I loved that gorgeous,
blue sterling that flew away;
there was pain in her melody;
I hoped for her retun
on a sunset painted in auburn!

Who are the lucky ones
blessed with happiness,
spending nights dreaming,
holding tight and whispering
something sweetly promised
while millions of stars twinkled!

Were We Born To Smile

Were we born to smile?
I ask myself the question
And wait for a reply

But I tell myself once more
Were we born to feel happy?
Were we born to feel joy?

I got into a collective thought
And wonder.............
Were we born to feel emotions?

Oh wait!!!
No
We weren't

Or were we?
After being stabbed
By friends that later ends

I burn in rage
And cry to beyond heights
That all relationships ends and also friends

THE WAX CRIES WITH HAPPINESS

Mom’s up early with the plucked bird, stuffing it.
The bare rinsed butterball, portions for six.
All day our mouths water, stomachs pitching a fit,
as we wait for the skin to crisp...delicious drumsticks.

Potatoes peeled and pressured, mashed, stirred
with butter, milk, salt and pepper...licking lips.
Jolly Green Giant beans heated, (sixties were absurd)
Likewise the floop from a tin can...cranberry flips.

Father and son, thankful for the football game. I
just hear static. Mother’s in her apron, sweating.
I just remember sights, smells, sounds...I sigh.
The basics of love — the cornucopia begetting.

Afterwards our bellies ballooning, but there’s pies,
piled with apple, rhubarb or cherry and Cool Whip.
The table adorned with long candles - the wax cries
with happiness. The unsetting done with thankful lips.

At Home With Happiness

Happiness sought
outside of oneself appears
most
elusive.

Seeking it
within oneself appears
exclusive and
even more
transient.

Happiness is not an
outside or inside home mind game,
mind has its madness and it will not
emend till its end.

Fill My Heart With Happiness

Perhaps I'll leave my window open

as my mind drifts silently off to dream

There'd be fields so lush and skies so blue

a perfect peaceful setting scene

I'd sit and I'd smile at all that's right

in a world of harmony,

where the air is pure, the streams run clean

and the hummingbirds fly free.

When the winds blow in and kiss my cheek

and the morning sun begins to rise

When my thoughts race rampantly and run ever so wild

I'll see that same beauty, that same peace

in your soft, ever loving, almond eyes.

I'll sit up and I'll smile

taking it all in

The smell of fresh baked biscuits

will fill the room and my heart with warmth

and surround it with happiness

my eyes will form a slight mist knowing

knowing I'm already here

the place that dreams are made of

where amazing sunsets go to live on forever

where the birds are always singing a playful tune

where whispers of I love you can always be heard

where the sun shines a little brighter

and every sight of you causes me to forever swoon

Premium Member You Fill My Days With Happiness

You fill my days with happiness
With joy I never knew
There is no greater love my dear
Than the love I feel for you

You fill my days with kindness
You set my poor heart free
I can't begin to tell you
How much you mean to me

You fill my days with friendship
The kind that lasts and lasts
The purest kind of friendship
What more could I ever ask

You fill my days with total joy
Like when I was just a child
The first time I could ride a bicycle
The clown that made me smile

You fill my days with quiet peace
That blows my cares away
With simple words of tenderness
You brighten up my day

But most of all sweet lady
You fill my days with spice
I'm never bored when you are near
My love, it's been a slice

Dancing With Happiness

Dancing with happiness,
When somebody helped me,
To work and study in the big city,
Dreams come true with my family.

Dancing with happiness,
When I passed the board exam,
Feels like the rays of the sun,
Shining brightly as good as I am.

Dancing with happiness,
When I got my first job as teacher,
Teaching students really that matter,
My greatest achievement forever.

Dancing with happiness,
When I got a chance to work abroad,
Sharing my knowledge as much as I could,
To prove that I can be successful as what they told.

Dancing with happiness,
When I joined poetry,
My poet friends are friendly,
I am grateful to be a part of PS family.

A Chat With Happiness

Little girl *crying*: why have you abandoned us, why did it have to be like this?

Happiness: I have an order from God that; I must wait, that you must endure a little more
pain to get me…

Little girl: if we endured more pain, will you come back, when all the doors are locked, when
all the people are against us, will u come back when no one truly understands except God?

Happiness: little girl, you should not be questioning like this, you just have to have hope;
Hope that I return.

Little girl: if I had hope for your return, will you return?

Happiness: with God’s will I will

Little girl: but can you hurry up, because I guess my mom will break if dad didn’t see his
mistakes.

Happiness* wipes girl’s tears*: I am always will you, even if you think I’m not there, I am
there, just believe in God and you will lack nothing!

Little girl* smiles*: I love God and I will believe that in his will that this is for the best, and
may God bless us.

Happiness: don’t be afraid, God will order me to accompany you, with his with, I will…

Raving With Happiness!

Here it comes, don't close your eyes, don't hold your breathe
The climax of what we've all been waiting for!
All your partners gather around
You don't know them but you don't care
Dancing is why everyones there!
Don't hold back, don't try to fight, don't be afraid
As the lazers fly, the flashing lights collide
The floors light up as do you
Arms raised and hearts alive
Feelings racing and the DJ spacing!
Lost emotions are swept away as you get carried away
Don't stop, Keep it going!!
Here we all go!
