Blessed With Happiness

This guy has never found
and felt true ecstasy,
only casual affairs
that lasted for the shortest while
to fill his void, hurting inside;
other guys find intimacy,
and satisfy their desires,
even time slows down
and shares their victory!

Who really are the lucky ones
blessed with happiness?
It could have been us:
had we not told those big lies!

I had sleepless nights
without sighs,
without hands
touching mine;
how horrible was
the empty feeling
while hugging
the comforting pillow,
not kissing
anybody's lips!
Ah! She left her goodbye note
on that swaying pillow:
such sad words, I won't quote!

Wasn't love always
meant to be shared by two
who loved roses
dripping with gleaming dew?

I loved that gorgeous,
blue sterling that flew away;
there was pain in her melody;
I hoped for her retun
on a sunset painted in auburn!

Who are the lucky ones
blessed with happiness,
spending nights dreaming,
holding tight and whispering
something sweetly promised
while millions of stars twinkled!
