The invitation spelled my name
“Eileen,” which I don’t do.
We’ve never met the bride and groom;
Her parents, though, we knew.
We skipped the wedding; sent a gift.
The thank you came today.
I laughed when I first read it;
This is what it had to say:
“Thank you very much for coming
To our wedding and, as well,
For the cookware set you gave us.”
Guess they couldn’t really tell
That among the many guests
Whose bodies added to the scene,
There were presents but no presence
Of the fictional “Eileen.”
Exactly, twenty-one years ago this very day
On the hushed, whispering shores of Lake Tahoe,
I walked my Princess, down the aisle and gave her away.
In that lush garden of the sun, you two, became one!
Under that white gazebo, so utterly sparkling,
When time seemed to stand virtually still,
I saw my stunning daughter, my darling,
Become a wife, against a backdrop of Lake Tahoe’s hills.
Your touching sapphire days together were still ahead,
Thank you, Butch for being the true, love of her life.
Then, a few years later, baby Eddie, cooed in his bed.
You two, by far, are the perfect husband and wife.
May all things beautiful come your way.
You both cared for me and keep me part of your life
And your big dream, that your son in the MLB, one day, shall play!
God bless you with all the very best and free from strife.
Tribute to Elena and Butch
Blessed Anniversary Wishes
With love, Mom
11/3/2022
You two have always enabled me to let go
and even laugh when I simply couldn't.
I feel like the family is even more evident today,
from my little lineage that collided with yours
to now as we are all united to celebrate these soulmates.
I know in my heart that your love will remain forever.
May your pleasures be as deep as the ocean
and your difficulties be as light as its foam.
I love you guys, thank you.
Well, would you believe it? I can’t!
It’s all of 30 years ago we said I do
Now that date 27th April makes its mark
So much to look back on just us two
Many memories would fill all our years
Holidays galore indeed by land and air
So much happiness enjoyed so very true
But really our love has kept us a pair
I thank you, my love, for all the years
For loving me so deeply and without a pause
Keeping me on the straight and narrow all right
Forgiving me repeatedly despite my flaws
Thanks be to God for without his grace
This pearl would not have been our reach
In his providence working in our life
Teaching much about his love never to breach
(This is written to celebrate Christine and my 30th Pearl wedding anniversary today on 27th April.)
About the bride's feelings
It won't be the same again.
Away with all doubts and ailments.
And what will happen to us next,
Please, dream with me if you please.
I see life as an adventure,
When we're serious together.
I remember the first touch,
It was a wonderful dream moment.
No wonder the wedding
The result of such a great love.
You are my fiance and I am my bride
The gardens of love around bloomed.

About the groom's feelings
I'm so glad you're here, honey.
I'm happy that we're together.
Now I know: love is
I will sing songs about it.
When I look at you,
I see a ray of sunshine.
All feelings are carefully stored,
I'll give you up to the bottom.
Thank you for the meeting,
Thank you for being with me.
Today I will answer" Yes " to you
And I will go with you for a century.
Thank you, Father for this special day
Thank you for anointing and sending this young man our way
Thank you for teaching him how to pray
His loyalty and commitment shows he is here to stay.
Thank you for making him wise and headstrong
His determination and perseverance showed us all he belongs
Thank you for giving him a heart fill with forgiveness and patience
That proves he can conqueror any given situation
Thank you for making him a groom full with fear for you
For in his fear we are aware that out of respect just for you
He will love, protect and adore her too.
For in this union, I will be the first to confess
That their are both so truly bless
As today their embark on there very first test
I am confident that in Christ
Their both will do there utmost best
Because these two has JESUS written across their chest.
Married 26 years on Wednesday
this is indeed a blissful thought
so much time spent together
precious memories can't be bought
Twenty six years it's been
a medal you richly deserves
for putting up with my ways
which must got on your nerves
In our years spent together
united in our one common bond
none could be as happy as we
knit as one so ably fond
Love is our essential key
instilled in us by God above
thankful we are for His blessings
having received His spirit filled love
Thank you for everything
now look forward to next year
April 27 is our date
now hold my hand my dear
(Was married 26years on 27 april this year, so penned this in recognition in thankfulness to my lovely dear wife Christine for all those blessed happy years.)

Dear Mom and Dad
Our family is full of joy today
You’re celebrating 50 years together
The four of us just want to say
We thank you every day for helping us
Survive each sun and stormy weather
You’ve always given us a helping hand
With comfort or advice, you’ve always been there
For us, and never thought about it twice
Through thick and thin you’ve shared with us
Your experiences and wisdom, though we might
Not have understood or sometimes made a fuss
Today and always we must confess our love and devotion
Dear lord, we thank you for this day
And all the blessings you bestow
Upon this couple who were wed 50 years ago
Thank you Mom and Dad for this existence
We thank you here and now for your protection
We love you more than you will ever know
And will always thrive with your affection.
all a dimple in my face
as four metal plates say thank you
what were you thinking to blow my face
as I teach your little girl to blow a world
as each petal a seed and the envelope hold four
and go fetch me six more to make a ten and if twenty
we have a garden and make an happy couple
Thank You For Your Wedding Gift
By Elton Camp
Mary knew it was time she wrote
The wedding gift “thank you” note
For those who’d wisely given cash
She’s already sent them in a dash
As long as the amount was enough
Expressing thanks wasn’t tough
While for some paltry sum
It proved more hum-drum
For cheapskates, she didn’t care
Who didn’t even pay their share
Her wedding cost a lot of dough
Such skinflints shouldn’t even go
“No boxed gifts” didn’t work
Yet she must “thank” the jerk
If she could do the wedding over again
“Cash only” the invitation would begin
Still, she strove for something “sincere” to say
And sent the “thank you” notes on their way
You are the love of my life.
It is an honor to be your wife.
I have been waiting my whole life
to make you happy.
I will not let you down.
THANK YOU for giving me a chance
to love you the way I could.
THANK YOU for uplifting me.
THANK YOU for being you.
THANK YOU for loving me genuinely.
THANK YOU for making my fairytale become
our reality.
THANK YOU for loving ALL of us
unconditionally.
he is a small sampling of nuptial bliss
grampa and gramma we thank you for this
your prodigy abound both near and far
they’ve spread like the seeds of a hollywood star
and here in the state where the big reds rule
we find your family all fit in one room
there long and there short and they’re so in between
I’m certain tonight there will be more than one scene
so if by chance you should hear the groom cry
don’t be startled, and don’t turn away
It’s a family trait that goes back quite far
you see my cousin’s a Grisetti and a sensitive guy
For Joann Grisetti's contest My Cousin's Wedding
On your racks I see the same dress over and over,
Might as well buy the one I saw at Wise Buys
I want a halter top with Swarvoski Crystals,
You tell me it'll be impossible to find,
Sweetheart neckline with form fitting satin to thighs,
I want a hi low hemline,
Also impossible?
My patience is on a thin line....
My lucky day,
Thank you De La Rosas,
I show you my drawing of a dress,
You quickly were able to fulfill my request,
After months of searching and trying on,
My dream has been satisfied, now there's nothing wrong

The Ice Swan , landing on the lake in the Early Morning Night
Her feathers , intricately patterned in a Moment of LOVE Forever the thinnest chisel
Curves her neck, to the kiss of her beak upon the LOVING Bride and Groom

The cold and numbness from the freezers melts from me; with their happy Smiling
