Fire and Ice

Fire and ice!
The former burns into smoke,
The latter melts into water!
You can stop a fire by water,
But never can you stop water from flowing.
She might turn into vapour if you boil her off by the fire,
But she will soon condense to become a solid ice.
The ashes that lie as residue
and the smoke that suffocates
is what fire is known for!
Burn the evil, breaking the bad.
But before she burns the good,
All she needs is some water to pull her down.
Its not always calm before the storm,
Sometimes all you need is that storm before the calm!
Because remember, fire burns and vanishes, non-reversible.
But ice melts and evaporates but will continue to do so, reversible!
Fire storm or water calm?
Decide what you want to be!

Elements Quatern

The four elements can collide-
for fire and water make steam-
a hot blanket of thick mist from
tea, hot springs, and boiling water.

When the conditions are just right,
the four elements can collide.
Fire (or heat) can liquify
earth, turning it into magma.

Earth and air makes swirling sandstorms-
tiny flecks that can cut through rock.
The four elements can collide,
chemical reactions like this.

Water freezes at thirty-two
degrees- the air has to be cold
enough to make water solid.
The four elements can collide.

As our fragile hands intertwined.

Air and Earth

Everyone knows about fire and water,
Their contentious relationship,
The flames, the fire, the passion.
You’re smothering me! Fire says,
Their relationship drowned one moment, then steamy the next.
Everyone can hear the crackling from miles away,
Can see the smoke.
But no one talks about air and earth,
Their relationship is quieter, more solid.
Earth keeps air grounded,
Air lifts up earth when she is down.
They shape each other,
Make each other beautiful.

Premium MemberWater and Fire

I am your treasured Water, source of life;
Without me, ecosystems could not be.
My oceans, rivers, streams- are full and rife;
But, uncontrolled- can lead to tragedy.

And, I am Fire, your friend or foe Earth form;
As forests age, I burn and recreate.
My flames can cook your food or keep you warm.
Yet, running free may cause a sorry fate.

We two join up to form a balanced gain-
As basic elements of your grand Earth.
While Water hydrates- Fire's warm comforts reign;
Can intertwine all levels- fault or worth.

Two elements among your Earth's grand scheme;
We, Fire and Water offer ups and downs.
Though torch of flames and rushing waters team-
Our happenstances can bring smiles or frowns.

Personification of the Elements – 9-1-23

The Elementals

Frigid currents gather stirring
Mists to rain hail in fists of fire and ice
From fractured magma stone eruptions
Crust and fire collide
In melted tornados
In hollows where minerals hitchhike
Into purple ruby hazes
Igneous bursts into fevered conundrums
Where four elementals convene
In cryptic crystals, intoxicated by emerald,
Fused laughing enigmas,
Shedding molten aqua teardrops,
Where fire and fury reside
Imprisoned in liquid stone,
Sparkling matrix thunders,
Compressed grit in animations
Of clear-cut brilliance
The Elementals speak
In captured eternal flames,
Water, stone and breath.

Fire and Water

Fire
                 blazing, glowing
          flaming, igniting, burning
     combustion, heat, hydro, aqua
      sprinkling, soaking, splashing
                 soggy, watery
                       water

If I’m in a desert hell and the Son has set His feet on the blazed earth, this worlds on fire and I thirst, would it be better for me to drink the cooling waters or be delivered and lifted UP?

the fire hydrant comes handy
first and fore most it saves lives
but to walk a dog in the city
it's a place of choice
better than the lamp post
and a tree we leave alone

as on a leash I am directed
to do my business in a jiffy
and always a piece of paper
as it degrade and never a plastic bag
to reach the next garbage can
she is so crazy but I love her

Earth Water Fire Air

The Earth is angry
   Air combined with water
     Wind combined with earth
      creates destruction and fear

Many have suffered in our past
we have always been at war
some wars so Evil , we try and forget
never forgotten , Imprints stamped on hand ~

  History does repeat no doubt
this time the war is something different
Land , women , money , creed , race , is not what this War is about .
We have been abusing our gift of Nature for too long now.

Fighting Earth , Water , Fire and Air
that is our War now, worse then all combined before us
This War has no mercy, like the many before, men have sacrificed themselves for.
This War is taking its Count , "Earth , Water , Fire and Air "

Tornados, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Typhoons , Evolution ..
how many lives will be given , before she lay still ?

Premium MemberYang and Yin

I searched the top and bottom of my mind
Who is the most famous couple of them all
I sat by the fire close to Yang
He asked me if I knew his lover Yin
He held the fire and light within his hands
Only her water could quench the flames of his desire
She could change the course of history
Wear down rocks bring flowers to the desert
Wash away his pain
Strength and softness combined

His was the power of light
Warmth and sparkle to her night
Without him she was unseen
His raging fire all consuming
Until she smiled
The sound and rhythm of her
Calmed
Nurtured him

She is tantalized fully alive
Joining together dark and light
Creating something new
Not in opposition
Interconnected
Heat transforms cold
Wrapped in an eternal bond
The invisible whole
Opposites and equals
Together become one
Theirs is the eternal dance of give and take

The Kid Who Talks Like a Guy

Down the interracial, middle-class block
there's a kid who talks like a mature guy...
using words only a grown-up man does,
" It's awesome to be cool! Let's have a fist fight!"
One evening, he drank from a can
he thought was a soft-drink...no, it was beer!
ah, he started laughing and throwing rocks,
infurating the lady next door who let her dog loose....
Poor kid he was chased for blocks
by a vicious poodle and as small as the dog was
he mauled the volley ball he carried.
" Get away from me, doggy! " he hollered
by kicking his his legs and calling for help.
News spread like fire and all the kids
came to see what was happening.
"Bring me my water gun, he told them...
I got to shoot him down before he bites me! "
And glancing at the agitated poodle
showing his sharp teeth, he pressed down
the trigger on his water gun saying,
" I am a cop...freeze! You going to jail! "
There was no hesitation on the dog's part,
he ran as if chasing a cat who stole his bone.

Premium MemberElemental Concerns (Revised)

Grassy plains and fields were blanketed by tar
Paved parking lots for vacant malls take their toll
Abuse of resources was taken too far
Ash spews from volcanoes, earthquakes on a roll

Brisk breezes bring relief; sultry, summer days
Be grateful as gentle gusts grace our land
When hurricane winds whip fiercely, homes are razed
An omen we’ve been chastised by nature’s hand

Fire provides comfort on chilly winter nights
But the explosion over Hiroshima
Demonstrates man’s abuse of the atom’s might
Keeping fire, emotions reigned, the dilemma

Water gave birth to our planet’s first life forms
Pollution, man-made disasters now rampant
Sea life endangered as ocean water warms
To preserve them, efforts must be diligent

Though elements withstand ravages of time
Diminishing resources reflect man’s crimes

Spellbound

My clarity is clear as a cut diamond
My sacred alter of devotion is grounded
I cleanse with holy water
Breaths are deep I chant in time
A solitary rhyme follows through mind
Inspiration is wild as this wicca dream proceeds
Candle flames dance to the goddess tune
Atmosphere is spellbound
A craft of centurys before
Intent is high
I am mesmerized by my focus of desire
My words become poetry to witches senses
Meditation travels me in time to the secret ones
I unite in my teachers whispers which fire my thoughts
Rituals begin in my circle of old traditions
My visual quest is in front of me its beauty is power
I invoke the energies come to me
Earth water fire and air come together as one
Show me your strength mothers earth never to be undone
Protect the gates of karma
A mystery to you
Never to me in every realm
As all is pure spellbound
In this world of mystery
So Mote it be......
