On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days,
It's time for celebration, let us enjoy ourselves,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.

Mingle with young and old, in courteous ways,
Revel with friends and kin, unseen for days,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days.

Children beam with glee, the mature smirk with grace,
To everyone, it's a moment, a heartfelt embrace,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.

We count on these days, swift in reality's race,
Gifts of flowers, wishes on cards, hopes they stay for always,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days.

Sing and dance, be merry, feast on delights,
Precious moments, cherished and bright,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.

On these days, let go of ominous thoughts,
In a party of celebration, let joy be sought,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.

The Fear of Getting Old

Oh old weed
Thy feet weathered
Like that of a tree

Like a child
Always carried
Thy beauty left behind

Trembling feet
What a painful joy
Scattered teeth

Grandchild taking thy as fun
Knoweth not that
Old though shall become

Twisted face
But beauty glance,once was
Sun,laughing, cause you're at the end of the race

If this is what it means
To get old
Then proudly I will tell the wind
That it's not in my will!!

Ballerina

A dainty dancer statue graces a busy pathway
Grace on perfect point for all to see
Heaven’s music beats in her heart every day

Clear crystal happiness begs me to dance her way
In summer’s lilting arabesque with lady bugs and bees
A dainty dancer statue graces a busy pathway

I flow in cadence with the joy of her ballet
As springtime daffodils dance with me
Heaven’s music beats in her heart every day

She pirouettes as golden leaves swing and sway
I follow her steps in the dance of scarlet trees
A dainty dancer statue graces a busy pathway

I twirl with her in swirling snowflake play
When winter leaves a frosty filigree
Heaven’s music beats in her heart every day

Through every season she begs me dance fall to May
To leap and laugh with her in the dance of life
Heaven’s music beats in her heart every day
A dainty dancer statue graces a busy pathway

Through Time You Will Reach Your Own Destined Prime

Eternal life makes some kind people's time
To grow wealth, unless it comes natural.
Through time, you will reach your own destined prime!

And keep warm, the hot history of past climb,
Reaching out for luck's unknown numeral.
Eternal life makes some kind people's time.

Many grows it against all odds- through crime,
But all: a fleeing whisper's deferral.
Through time, you will reach your own destined prime!

Pastry shell don't dry fast like baking mime,
The process at same phase, just cultural-
Eternal life makes some kind people's time.

Only soul is our undying gift that chime,
Heavenly breaths; being supernatural.
Through time, you will reach your own destined prime!

Echo through grace, your days trials had grime,
Never relent to retreating several-
Eternal life makes some kind people's time,
Through time, you will reach your own destined prime!

There Is No Pattern To True Happiness

Every birth drives through deep uneasiness,
Yet laughter cools pain of childbirth so gay.
There is no pattern to true happiness!

How smiles celebrate the womb's emptiness,
Simplify the joy heart awaits all day...
Every birth drives through deep uneasiness.

Happy birthday, dear sir in lousiness,
From my bottomless heart- sparks bright hooray!
There is no pattern to true happiness.

More of you to long healthy liveliness...
I wish you keep smiling all day that way,
Every birth drives through deep uneasiness.

God granted you your life partner's venus-
Love so true to bless your special display,
There is no pattern to true happiness!

Everlasting joy drives home coziness-
Where troubles won't be fit to block its way.
Every birth drives through deep uneasiness,
There is no pattern to true happiness.

Spark On; Fa Kunle

Once upon an age, you twinkle like star,
Far so high; among others, up the sky.
Even your parents wonder what you are!

Before birth, both admire your being- afar,
Though can't actually point out you that high,
Once upon an age, you twinkle like star.

Months in the womb, your dance to stars' guitar;
Actively signal the cool sky, goodbye.
Even your parents wonder what you are!

As you left heaven without any scar,
For earth to fulfill what your fate standby-
Once upon an age, you twinkle like star.

Earthly quests bring scars from its reservoir...
Somewhat grace, favour and prayer bely,
Even your parents wonder what you are!

Fortune to everyone, has its radar-
Fashion Designer gets yours to thy eye.
Once upon an age, you twinkle like star,
Even your parents wonder what you are!

Premium MemberI Walk the Stars

I walk the stars beyond my shadowed dreams.
Not cognizant, the mortal dim of eyes -
On twilight’s breast, my coalescent seams.

Kids’ adorn’d my hair - my birthday crown, beams.
No strength to snuff the light…I see the skies.
I walk the stars beyond my shadowed dreams.

Too young, yet old…what now…too late for schemes.
I’m in the nest, grieving…oh how time flies!
On twilight’s breast, my coalescent seams.

In sorrow’s weep, bereft kiss of moonbeams.
As nighttime falls, time to say our goodbyes.
I walk the stars beyond my shadowed dreams.

The solemn room grows loud with requiems.
This poignant temp’ral tick - my mom’s-heart’ cries.
On twilight’s breast, my coalescent seams.

Beyond horizon, ageless pleasant streams.
Forth flowing peace of God…the last sunrise.
I walk the stars beyond my shadowed dreams.
Earth’s solemn breast - death’s coalescent seams.

CHRISTMAS VILLANELLE

Come join the birthday, celebrate, rejoice
For One who woke the world to set it free
To sing our carols with uplifted voice

Then with His blessings and with power of choice
Our eyes are opened now that we may see
Come join the birthday, celebrate, rejoice

Unchained from sin and close writ law invoice
We grant to others each their right to be
And sing our carols with uplifted voice

Make Merry drink from cups of fine alloys
No close confinement laid on by decree
We join the birthday, celebrate, rejoice

Though tribulations drew our sails from hoist
Let these dark storms pass on into our lee
And sing our carols with uplifted voice

In time to come we’ll know long waited joys
And we shall lift our hearts with new esprit
So join the birthday, celebrate, rejoice
To sing our carols with uplifted voice

Hello there, fragrance of boundless delight
Love touch vibrational, makes us complete
Joy such, from which may we never alight

Bubbling rapture renews each day and night
As love does love, in joyousness so greet
Hello there, fragrance of boundless delight

Our love grows byte by byte, to zenith height
Suffused we are, by bliss nectar replete
Joy such, from which may we never alight

Love enigmatic, hidden in plain sight
Each sensory flicker, elixir sweet
Hello there, fragrance of boundless delight

Twin flame souls entwine, radiating light
Soundless rhythm we feel is one heartbeat
Joy such, from which may we never alight

Our love transcendental makes all wrongs right
Together we occupy, one love seat
Hello there, fragrance of boundless delight
Joy such, from which may we never alight

The Month That I Like Best

The month that I like best? It’s hard to say . . .
For January’s nice, and April, too;
But if I have to choose just one, it’s May.

In May, we celebrate Memorial Day!
But what of February, March—those two?
The month that I like best? It’s hard to say . . .

In May, there’s smell of flowers and fresh-mown hay,
September and October? Each their due!
But if I have to choose just one, it’s May.

In May, with longer days, more time to play!
In June, July, and August? Skies are blue.
The month that I like best? It’s hard to say . . .

In May, the warmer days are here to stay!
November and December? Much to do . . .
But if I have to choose just one, it’s May.

In May, my Mom and Grandma made entrée!
And as for me, I, too, was born on cue.
The month that I like best? It’s hard to say . . .
But if I have to choose just one, it’s May.

July-My Favourite Month

I have an ardent attachment with July,
Coz me and my partner share our born days
This month ~for love on each other we rely.

Monsoon seems to be high, hoping to satisfy
Nature showers whole heartedly, as it sprays
I have an ardent attachment with july

"July" named by the Roman Senate, to imply
The birth of Julius Caesar, for giving honour it says
This month ~for love on each other we rely

Larkspur and water Lily are in largest supply,
Blossoms absolute bond of love, prevents frays
I have an ardent attachment with july

Meditating in dark, about him who is in Dubai,
Refusing to message & enquire regarding holidays
This month~for love on each other we rely

Sitting in two different countries, we ally
Thinking of past memoirs always
I have an ardent attachment with july.
This month~for love on each other we rely.

DECEMBER DIARIES

When snowmen are built and Christmas trees glow,
When a colourful world becomes pure white,
I was born this month not so long ago,

When every tree branch is laden with snow,
It's the month of giving and spreading light,
When snowmen are built and Christmas trees glow,

Carols are ringing mid the mistletoe,
The nights are darker but the stars shine bright,
I was born this month not so long ago,

Sweets and cookies and soft cakes overflow,
The cool choir goes singing throughout the night,
When snowmen are built and Christmas trees glow,

The angels look down and blessings bestow,
Children in red and white are such a sight,
I was born this month not so long ago,

Gifts are placed around fireplaces aglow,
Ice crystals float down and skating is right,
When snowmen are built and Christmas trees glow,
I was born this month not so long ago.

I Couldn'T Say Goodbye

I found a friendship I can't deny
So with this heart
I couldn't say goodbye.
When I think of you I'll always remember how you
Sweet child celebrated my birthday and the fourth
Of July.
We shared what I saw in the sky
And water with my own naked eye
It was truly an objet d art.
I found a friendship I can't deny
For with you I could identify.
We had so much to impart
I couldn't say goodbye.
No matter how hard I try.
It seems we had a special connection from the
Very start
I found a friendship I can't deny.
I saw rainbows, dragons fly,
Met the ninja, Mr. Wizard, an Indian, and you
Dear pirate were the best part
The whole reason why I couldn't say goodbye.
I cry
As I say take care of yourself sweetheart.
I found a friendship I can't deny
There was no way I could say goodbye.

Premium MemberVillanelle: I Woke Up In the Middle of the Morning Dream

Villanelle: I woke up in the middle of the morning dream

       "Happy Birthday" Amerika !

I woke up in the middle of the morning dream
Found my family sucked under plastic carpet slime
Too late to draw the shutters or let out a scream

My father in his rocking chair choked in pipe-dream
My children all out on the lawn playing at crime
I woke up in the middle of the morning dream

My mother in the kitchen plastered full of cream
The baby in the cradle cage covered in slime
Too late to draw the shutters or let out a scream

I plucked the iPhone floating past broken pipes steam
To call my Senator through unplugged bathtub grime
I woke up in the middle of the morning dream

Two eels came slithering out of the wall's cracked beam
And the basement coughed up miles and miles of rude rhyme
Too late to draw the shutters or let out a scream

I saw my country sinking under stale ice-cream
And the President on breaking news making mime
I woke up in the middle of the morning dream
Too late to draw the shutters or let out a scream
