On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days,
It's time for celebration, let us enjoy ourselves,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.
Mingle with young and old, in courteous ways,
Revel with friends and kin, unseen for days,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days.
Children beam with glee, the mature smirk with grace,
To everyone, it's a moment, a heartfelt embrace,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.
We count on these days, swift in reality's race,
Gifts of flowers, wishes on cards, hopes they stay for always,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days.
Sing and dance, be merry, feast on delights,
Precious moments, cherished and bright,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.
On these days, let go of ominous thoughts,
In a party of celebration, let joy be sought,
On birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries, days,
Forget routines and rituals, and have fun on these days.
