Unravelling Love

Unknown is the word, "Love"
A passion that cannot be told
A thought that moves the mind
A feeling that makes one blind.

To be destined to love
To be drawn to someone
To live as if to prove
A testament to love
That cannot be undone.

A mystery to those that never felt it
A joy to those that welcome it
A struggle for those who fight for it
A victory to those that win it.

What a weird desire to be in love.

Unravelling the Quilt

That driving force
that is ink for the well,
this compulsion to compel,
to tell a thing
until it rings in the brain.

Again and again
we sew a quilted cloth,
construe it thread by thread
until what is said
becomes a scaffold
to hang words upon.
A placeless place
where night seeing bats
seek out the heat of
hidden meanings.

There within an open ended parable
both poet and reader
decipher and construct anew
to make a sense, or a reasoned view
of the unintelligible.

Thundering beats my heart along

As hooves upon the tundra wide
I rejoice at life, Its reveal inside
Repeat echo, of tales millennia told
Heart and sinew; my desires unfold.

I channel into lines on paper!
These thoughts and feelings
Some snap into my mind,
Like an alligator'

Their bite upon my manner
Is strong, in expressive throes
I hope not too long? And time?
What holds are upon my span?

But what I allow. As a sentient Man!
Or woman; should I think some more?
Enchanting challenging brave and raw
So not by rote, or times and plan.

Yet by diving deep; into poetry’s song.

Unravelling the Tapestry

I found in my tapestry
a rare golden thread,
I began to unravel it
to see where it led

The weft that was freed
from the intricate weave,
changed the course of my life
more than I'd ever conceive

While the threads of my past
went back through the heddle,
they were detached from my present
as fate worked its treadle

The familiar tableau
that I'd known all those years,
one of struggle and sadness,
did soon disappear

As the mural was altered,
each new vignette enlightened,
the scenes became joyous
and my spirit was brightened

Now, the tituli tells of
a hopeful potential,
one of love and compassion,
perhaps, exponential

S'true that our stories, our legends
are written by fate,
but one can change the outcome,
it is never too late

Unravelling

It was a sex attack
in burning clairvoyance.

You cannot catch me
in catastrophic moment.

A hard core **** has
the piety for a lone wolf.

Unclothed, a courier
walks into a shower of bullets.

A hospital waits for the
wounded god returning home.

On the scrubland you place at the
end a coffined prophet, smiling.

Sleepless, sleeping on ambers
you recite a blind epitaph.

An Unravelling of Time

Time
Is a measure of existence
Where we all play our part
Looking back and looking forward
We live so much and imagine so much
Sketching life on our minds and our hearts
Sometimes we break
And we think we are- Irreparable
But somehow -
We move through time
Changing and shaping
This way and that – from darkness to light
Shedding off the old
Birthing the new into existence – we didn’t know was beyond-Times portals
Here we explore the supernatural world of promise- at the Kings command
We enjoy a Kingdom of priceless worth - it outshines times wrappings
Time that is slowly unraveling
Being discarded on the pile -
Of a past life.

Adventures In Babysitting (Rapture Unravelling)

was hired to babysit life
was hired to babysit life
gave hollywood their homework
an assignment im sure
keep us all in line
13 steps of this war
keep us all in line
deadlocked to get what we want

i was hired to babysit life
i was hired to babysit life
it was gonna be harder than i thought
judging my own innocence ididn't understand
13 steps keep us all in line and deadlocked
deadlocked
we will get what we want
a war we all win
born for this
wanna do it again
but we wont
onto something new

i was hired to make you feel ok for what happened
what happened to align ourselves to be where we at
to get what we want
how far we pushed to be the people we are
the ones striving for the successes of all involved
13 steps
13steps
keeping us deadlocked
outsmarting ourselves
to gather the plot
the plot we wrote
fooled by it again
mastering our own destiny
what else did you think we were gonna do

I came to babysit life
life was lost
found the great big hiding place
came to babysit the meatphor of life
hollywood has an assignment
13 steps to keep us deadlocked
3 licves to follow along
never know till you see it
everyone belongs it takes everyone

The Fall of the Tower (Act 1 of 3-Man's Plan Unravelling)

picking apart the world around us
what stands out
what is god upto?
working through the pages of history
and whose blaming who?
more than enough food to feed the world
so why are people still going hungry
not enough money to go around for everybody
to split the spoils
more than enough bullets for everyone
but not everyone can have a gun
foreshadowing
the plot thickens
what else are we doing wrong?
villifying our ignorance of simple facts
unable to do simple math
angry at precipitating action for reaction
same page different book
different languages slow down communication
this isn't gods world
he's either blackmailing himself
or blackmailing satan
or there is reason the tower fell
hard to work together for one simple goal

the world had a choice
to feed themselves and choose life
and everything would be simple
or choose death and see what your god would do
to slow you down from your inevitable

is it time to pay the piper
hungry mouths and saving lives bring our languages together
everytime you globally try to die
lack of communication
and through ignorance you are villified

Unravelling

An outcast, stripped and beaten
up, the sickle moon
smears the clouds with blood.

I hate to wait for –
the sun to undo this mess,
an ethnic mutilation will bring a chaos.

Nursing the peripheries,
tribes were in pursuit of bayonets;
will not surrender the arms

to mate.Unceasingly they are
digging up an abysmal grave
to throw in the truths in uniform-

in pursuit of feathers, offering
for temple archways, turning
on the future, for past glory !
