Unnaturally Poems

Radically erroneous monotheists
have mistakenly substituted
our co-infested
co-operative
co-invested
co-empathic pantheistic HolySpirit's
naturally healthy
resonant EarthTribal bodhisattva powers
of polyculturing communion love and peace

for messianically monoculturing luster
and loneliness

unnaturally unhealthy
irreligiously irritating dissonance

degeneratively devilish
and idolatrous
and disrapturously ecocidal

false-god demonic
anthro-supremacist power

Struggling to survive
against Othered
fundamentally erroneous monotheists.

Premium MemberBehind The Bluff

Why has natural human beauty
Been deemed as not enough
Faces plastered and glued
With artificial, unnatural stuff

False eyelashes glued on
The length of camels plus some
Faces orange or unnaturally brown
Not touched by natures sun

Lips injected and pumped
Botox faces unable to move
Veneered teeth blindingly bright
Faces with so much too prove

It is so sad that young girls and women especially
Believe they are not beautiful or enough
Without wearing their artificial painted masks
Their natural beauty disguised and hidden…. behind the bluff

Premium Memberwarm autumn sparkles with shiny colors

autumn sparkles with shiny colors
her leaves twinkling and winking in the breeze
the forest is full of golds and reds today
walnuts are piling under my tall leafless tree

there should be a coolness, it is autumn, right?
but it is ninety-two degrees, odd for Kansas
this is nearly mid October, too warm for fall
I sit outside and smell charcoal from neighbors

homecoming game will be toasty warm
plaid skirts and tennis shoes can be replaced by tiny dresses
wraps unnecessary this year, even though it is autumn
unnaturally warm, unless the weather changes fast

Premium MemberTimeless Illusion

Silence permeates a desolate landscape.
Fossil fuels and nukes laid waste
to everything we knew, everyone we loved,
now unnaturally erased.

Yet, a cozy, rustic, little cottage stands.
A child's scrawl says, "Mom you're awesome!"
next to pictures on the refrigerator door.
A vase holds a red rose blossom.

Pixels emanate from a silicon brain,
swirling into a hologram,
a three-dimensional synthetic scene,
Proclaiming, falsely, "this I am".

This scene is played for centuries and eons hence.
Because of men's delusion,
there's no one to see this timeless projection,
an AI-produced illusion.

Stiffness

I try not to.
I blink anyway.
Like blinking out seawater.
It pours.
Goosebumps are uncontrollable.
Sitting for hours.
Sitting unnaturally.
But I can’t shift, only sway.
They command me to stand.
My feet are asleep, but that’s not the worst of it.
I see my surroundings again.
Bed.
I’m embarrassed.
I lie down and become stiff again.
I don’t bother with the blanket.
It never helps.
I don’t bother crying.
It never ever helps.

Unfold Naturally

Never thought this would be so hard
To realize I still love you only to know u may never be mine
Years have passed but the feelings are still the same
Misunderstandings and miscommunication are to blame
I wait for things to unfold unnaturally
I wish to open the door and cry in your arms faithfully
Longing to kiss you so beautifully
I never knew how much I missed you until I heard your voice
I wish now I was your choice
I wait for things to unfold unnaturally
The times we spent together
I will treasure for a lifetime
No one compares to you in my life
I wish we have forever
Sometimes I feel it's now or never
I wait for things to unfold naturally
I cry at night hoping you would hear me
I wonder despite everything if you feel the same way to
I want to walk hand in hand with you
I want to dance with you
I want to wake up next to you
I want you to have all of me
I want to have all of you
This time I have to wait for things unfold naturally
If we are truly meant to be, I know in my heart you will come back to me.

Premium MemberInside Outside Inside

What worth am I

in all this madness
what worth are you
in the depths
of all this sadness

there,
see the flight path
to elevation
inside the feels;

inside the fields
of darkness
spring wells of
orbs popping light

the half-stride
of trying phantoms
planting seeds,
half-baked poetry

running
through the veins
the golden fields
of darkness

minutiae sleeping
with Morpheus
under the velvet blankets
of Elysium

terra firma robes
overly well worn
divested now
in waking

kissing the farewell
to be received blessed,
annointed in the essence
of the uncommon

there,
the busy minded,
the unnaturally gifted -
The Poets ...

call you,
see -
the flight path
to elevation

inside the outside inside -

or, called back outside,
there you remain,
forever fixated
on cracking the inside

the hoax planted
in a dybbuk box
unfounded
unworthy demon

sunken
treasure
buried forever
grounded

hear them all, see,
inside the common feels,
the uncommon Poets
call you

see,
the flight path
to elevation
reaching

inside the outside inside

Adrenaline

There is too much energy,
coincidentally,
Too much memory,
incrementally,
Too much sensory,
What has entered me
So unnaturally?

Premium MemberEmeraldite

We had heard about Emeraldite of course; who had not?
She lived in the lane with the Oak tree that had a lovely knot.
She is the most beautiful witch you will ever see, no rot!
This was told to me by every person whose opinion I never sought.

I finally crawled into the bushes and took my magnifiers out.
She was a beauty with her green eyes, there was no doubt.
But I had seen other beautiful witches, so I kept quiet.
Her hair was unnaturally ebony, did she dye it?

Come out! She coaxed me. Come over and be my friend.
My hiding had not been good, it was about to end.
I crept over to say “hello” and we shared some terrific spells.
Emeraldite is a wonderful comrade, who makes marvelous jells.

She has one for skin, and two or three for a sore knee too.
She sold me cosmetics, and hair care products that turned mine blue.
You have to go see her! I told my cousin Liberty Lou.
I wanted her to be taken advantage of too.

a hunch

Dripping over with the magic sense, you
With violet wings soar unnaturally low.
I split with your cloud's grief my own adieus—
And the words that can hold your barbed mind close,
A place where there's dreams— I hope— to shed to.

What Lies

What lies.

What lies
Among beds of roses
The promises of spring
The ever-fragrant highs

What sighs
When its stems are clipped
Dropped into a vase
Far from azure skies

will it try
Wo shamelessly adorn
Bouquets, wilted petals stripped
Trimmed of dreaded thorns

Will it cry
Because it lack the worth
The beauty it once held
When it was bedded in the earth

Will it die
Forced unnaturally to graph
The flower in the urn may smile
But it will never laugh

The Long View

the long view

We, humans, live to kill; we murder something every day
Take breakfast.
we eat birds’ embryos by the millions
And eat the milk the calf should have for a healthy life
And the mother ends up in a hamburger
Potatoes scream in pain when peeled and cooked in fat
Carrots pulled up by its root are in agony
The same goes for sweet tomatoes that bleed white blood
When cut in half for your salad.
We poison insects over farmland, a fog of poisonous gasses
To make tired soil produce more.
Even the beloved pet, the dog, is not spared; we shower them with misplaced love, doing, make them cling and behave unnaturally.
We ignore the obvious, all life is capable of pain; what are
For us to do is to eat ourselves cooked or fried.

Premium MemberGrandma Cottonwood

Grandmother Cottonwood’s leaves glistened.
Shaking their silver sides against the breeze.
Glossy and pointedly sculpted, a few listened.
As her main twig rolled up his sleeve.

I had not seen a talking tree since Babes in Toyland.
Expected some marching and a mariachi band.
The woods were unnaturally quiet and stark still.
North wind providing a coldish autumn chill.

Possibilities

I am burdened with the knowledge of a million aftermaths.

My mind splits each possibility, each more real than the last.

Each path is unnaturally woven with rapid memories.

As I reach more deeply.

I discover that I can see the pieces of a family I used to be a part of.

And the paths that were dull and nonsensical-

Are eclipsed with smiling fragments that turn poignant.

Premium MemberCon Carnage

Mere husks remain,
unnaturally strewn,
lying by the dozens
on a red-soaked field.
Once stoutly girded,
masking fiery resolve
underneath unassuming
exteriors, naught but the
faintest hints linger,
sad siren calls to
former greatness.
