Hospital name change

I am a softer word
softer than plywood
Whats in a name
I ask myself,
but a veneer of transposition.
an arraigned truth
From Mayday to University Hospital
from the prosaic to the nomenclature
That's the power of a word
a reason to believe

From long lento in wintery womb
To descending crescendo of gloom…
With its sensual flair
Spring springs into the air,
In presto tempo of upbeat bloom.

Zero Universe

the decrease in blindness
brings an invisible angle of life
next to you
mix complacency for failure
and tenderness for one's own weakness
but my future blue ailment
operates building the transposition
between what was and what will be
inoculates caramels and anesthetics
inside feeling and forgetting
he stands alert smiling
sentinel that watches over an ancient world
dodge fast from the warheads that are you
it settles in this conquered space
a primordial contempt for your zero universe
the access route to comfort is there
in the soft volumes that travel in blocks
the shadow is the building itself
reflections are also what give rise to them
I didn't used to be this descriptive
but now any flight touches the parallels
I'm acquiring a tendency to offer resistance
the bats are leaving the cave
there are so many enemies that I didn't know
now they're all here smiling
happily telling me good morning, son

The Soul Farm

He,stares in to the fire making deals with ghosts in the flames;
I stare, at the empty jars, i care about the red wine, still in the glass.
Now, time is as fragile as a comb dripping like a yellow sun,
i know the wham slap of the morning is due,
like an unwanted letter, or whisper of bad news.
This moment can be split, and spat against a broken future;
I may need a Sat Nav, to be sure of this journey,
a map of shifting clouds, of muddled ideas to gain ;
a painless transposition, along this ragged edged trail.
Tomorrows, tomorrows are numbered and in short supply.

Wall in the Woods

A solitary pensive woodland canticle
Wanders through summer’s souvenirs,
A gypsy quilt of green transformed to crimson flame,
And prophesies of empty paeans swiftly riding
Through a meandering row of barren arms
Keeping silent watch at last light over crumbling lines,
Smooth river stones staggering
Beneath the jealous hand of gravity’s lament
For lost time and the skillful composer’s design,
As seasons fled to forget the wall’s divide;
One epoch stands at the trellis barrier of a foregone age
On a footpath two worlds collide - atonal echoes escaping
In a vision for once neat orchard rows overgrown
Separated from a scattered copse of Queen Anne’s Lace;
Seeking signs of clarity through slinking shadows
From the clear eyed composition, standing mid gracious ferns,
Barred from crossing – stepping over the seal of time signatures -
Yet led to find a rusted gate -a scrolling key -
To unlock a welcoming transition – melded vision transposition
A secret weald of melancholy song walking by a wall.

Premium MemberYou Inspire Me

Just the thought of you
inspires me to heights
of grandiosity and elegance

You coerce me to create
writings, poems of distinction
indubitably perchance

How does this entrancing
energy transpose into art,
permutations of heights

drifting through ions
of transposition, toughness
circumcises deliverance

It's a mystical phenomenon
that's existed for ages,
from the inception

of humanity's ineptness
through the age of technology
bolstered by craters

of existential drifting
through generations
parallel to the Muse.

Sex With a Saxophone

Jelly Belly had her sex with a saxophone
Up and down in pitch in perfect transposition
In melodic intervals
Jelly listens what he tells
"I put my dysfunction at your disposition".

Transposition

A human is afflicted
Constitutionally impaired

Stricken with a penchant
For humans inherently despaired

On the conscious level
Feels sensations of suffering

Gleans paramount endearment
For their dark proclivity

The human radiates benevolence
To the inviolable entity

Transmitting a vision
That life is worth living

Furnish with the knowledge
That existence must seek balance

Those who shine on others
The beams reach them too

Love begets love
Let us walk in their shoes

                                                                             Sunshine Williams

Wind

The winds of time after so long,
have finally blown in my favor.
After so long, lost and adrift, to
your shore I find comfort.

White sand beaches, the water
lapping, placid and warm.
Tossed and floundering the
currents have placed me away
from the storm’s harm.

In your arms, the dream made real,
the sun brings new disposition.
As opposed to an aching soul, all’s a
complete transposition.

Your words so lovely, your beauty
way beyond a face.
You’ve taken my hand and showed
me love; my sadness erased.

Guiding winds oh so favorable, you
must be a Godsend.
Guiding winds, I thank you heaven
for this lover and a friend.
