Mushroom Tipping Point

So nervously, upon this earth I tread.
Don't let me, again, go out of my head.
My fragile mind persisted yet unbroken,
ignoring all harsh words as they were spoken,
until shattered with a sickening shriek.
Done in, I was, as I heard a mushroom speak.

Tipping Balance

   Off and on life to face some turmoil .
    You cannot predict, how long it will last.
     being a simple problem or coiled !
     You need a tipping balance to adjust.

    Proceed with vigorous running dynamic ,

Tenacity in application
brings oft bud; to inspiration .'

a storm rages outside.
sky, overcast with clouds
fearful sounds echo, 
through mountain crannies,
like that of shrieking bats in flight.
trees shiver under wind's might.
everything around,
presages an impending doom.
the least pressure may
tilt the scales and tip the balance.

sitting in my dim lit room
with all the windows shut
unable to drown the emptiness
afloat in irrepressible buoyancy,
I glance over the balance

We all have moments when happiness rings true
When everything seems to finally be going right
No nimbus clouds to spoil blue skies or the view
until fate steps in and our lives turn dark as night.

What efforts we've made to stay in balance is lost.
No matter what we try, harmony does not prevail
and life is stressful, for

Listless life entangled in the cobweb of frustration
looks for the escaping pathway of dissociation.
Time for me to listen to the earnest call from within,
the enticing echo of music from the soul’s concert.

I reform the constitution of the mangled mind,
let the strained strings of sensual duress unwind,
discover the covert cavern someone makes for me
within the abode

A cruise to an island
or someplace way up north?
To Alaska I
maybe could sally forth.

Alaska has scenes of
fjords and so much more:
mountains, lakes and places
with interesting lore.

Wildlife is plentiful.
An orka you might see.
Learn gold rush history.
In scenic Juneau be.

Cruises to hotter climes
are such a cinch to find
if stops at coastal towns
and beaches you don’t mind.

Lost in a maze of numbers, tight, 
I scratched my head—my hair took flight. 
Paused a while, let time slip free, 
Returned with fresh eyes—oh, the key! 
A whisper of change, a shift in the tide, 
A tweak in thought, the answer inside. 

The Earth once breathed in steady tune, 
Now, fevered winds howl at

Pressure builds to the last straw
A butterfly unfolds its wings
Toes coil down on cliff's edge
The flippy flop flips to pause
In a coin tossed spins in the wind
Fate's fair is on hold in the air
For a tiny puff can
Blow out the candle
Or make the butterfly
Take to the air
Or send momentous whispers
in murmuring ripples that propagate
To shake

A Tipping Balance

The song of my soul, sounds like light
fading shadows in notes of joy
serenity unfolding on the hearts of glory
where He lives – in the dewlike tears,
overwhelming sense of grace
pouring over the bruised seas, skies
flooded by prayers and praise….

The stories of God – His amazing
the tones of our praise
on the rhythms of soundless nights
skies pouring out

equipoise had eluded him
a counterweight of feathers
failed to lift weights
from the other side of nowhere

maybe it was the fulcrum 
that needed new balance
a pivotal shift in the light 
of burdensome weight

burning the bridge
before the crossing
a pendulum on either side
suspended the pendant
when he approached
the courage to fear

They say God won’t put 
more on you than you can bare
Sounds like violet vanity 
For those NOT in despair

The darkest days in the
Mind of a deranged butterfly 
trapped in a nap in a cocoon 
Who knew? The caterpillar!

The madness was like liquid 
Melting on a maroon mind
During the day and at night
It morphed into

Love is a fulcrum that
balances our relationship.
The weight of our feelings
for each other keeps us level.
If one of us gets off, the fulcrum
can’t keep us together.
The tipping point is reached,
the relationship crashes.
