There was a tiger named Tony
his passion was for tasty macaroni ~
For some obscure reason, the powers that be
decided bowls of frosted flakes it would be

The save vanishing species USPS stamp -
featuring an Amur tiger cub graphic
-----------------------------------------------
Hillborn river, gentle Amur flows east
Embracing enroute a score of besties
Enriching diverse lives, some so unique
She sways towards the ocean Pacific
Warm orange bright Siberian tigers
Left in cold, threatened, dispossessed drifters
Settle along serene flowing Amur
Takes her name, huddle along her, survive
Sad eyes with Blake's immortal symmetry
An Amur cub stamped on clear envelope
Stares at cruel human eyes with pity
Asks for mercy, for marked territory
cat claw marks on a tree
long deep angry looking gouges
a huge animal, possibly a leopard, tiger or lion
I envision this beast sharpening her enormous claws
maybe a velvety black puma with yellow eyes
terrified, my hair stood straight up on end
am I being watched from the shadows?
a tiger crept into my closet today
it happened at three pm. while I was away
she was silent but hungry, wanting some meat
messed up my closet, put two shoes on her feet
I woke up at a quarter past two
saw her stealing my tennis shoes blue
shut my eyes tight and pretended to sleep
did not make a sound, not even a peep
heard the creak of my refrigerator door
heard a neighbor scream and a loud roar
quickly ran down to lock my front door
this pesky neighbor shall bother me no more
Fifty wild tigers roaming around
In an underground cave I never found
Calling Bandhavgarh National Forest their home
A place I hope to never get lost in or roam
Once a tiger ate a clown,
then wondered from town to town.
in her lace frock frilly,
she acted so silly,
and never once wore a frown.
My mother says
Stretch marks are tiger stripes
Primordial waves
Of growth
And change
Oh dear feline, with compassion like mine.
Oh long claws, etched in your paws.
How dare would someone like me, compare to such entity as you.
Black, Orange and White, only such colors, would suit your being.
Jump so elegant, I dare not say a thing.
The Lion may be the king, but you can be the queen.
A sunset at sea,
clouds resemble sweet roses.
Waves swell with passion.
That smell of cut grass,
go for a run right through it.
You’re a child again.
A slight taste of salt
from tumbling in the ocean,
just a dash burns lips.
The sound of a roar
before you can see a thing,
You’re on high alert.
My Muse is easy to see,
nature’s flare for poetry.
Siberian tiger, striped, brave and strong
She covered my entire car, ten feet long
Six hundred and sixty pounds turned and stared me down
I ran until I reached the edge of the very next large town
You were never in danger, a voice said in my head.
He’s just a big pussy, a pet of your weird old neighbor Ned.
But part of me knew better, and was glad I had been spared.
For neighbors like this odd duck man, I have truly never cared.
