Love Or Or

What kind of love is best
That cloth saturating
act
with the devil on your back
or
That teen smile from ;loves first glance
Lovered friends
that hide the truth
in lost hours
or
That moment of perfect grace
as you look upon new born face
or
The gentle hand you seek
of aged love
that survives
or
unassuming arms offered without judgement
or
tear soaked faces
set aside the empty box
that none have thought outside
or
the pain of pity
never been shown
or
that templed love
of abstract leading abstract
or
as sunlight shaped smile
turn to gasps
as colour rips itself across
the sky
I cannot claim to name the best
or even felt those i listed
but for sure love is always
gifted

The Templed Heart

You've lost your mate one decade gone,
a longshoreman who bode his time
upon the seas from dusk till dawn.

Knew every route, when he should climb
the towering waves to safely ground
his skiff, bring men home in their prime

to families, lovers, safe and sound.
After those years spent in your arms,
to deal with him not being around,

you potter in an empty farm
where laughter used to scrape the sky.
Despondently, you sought to calm

your loneliness with Kentucky rye.
On certain days it's overdone,
like anniversaries. You sigh

about the past, thinking if the one
thing that can save you is a smoking gun.

FLOATING meditation

FEEL YOUR BODY RISE SLOWLY FROM THE GROUND TO THE AIR. FLOAT UP TO THE CENTER OF YOUR SPACIAL SURROUNDING AND ALLOW YOUR SOUL TO GRAVITATE UP RISING TO NEW HEIGHTS. YOU ARE A FEATHER BEING PUSHED UP BY A GENTLE AUGMENTING WIND . GO TO THE SUMMIT OF YOUR THOUGHTS AND REACH UP AND TOUCH THE PLATFORM OF HEAVEN WITH YOUR MIND (B)
WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED THE APEX OF YOUR JOURNEY LOOK DOWN AND SEE THE OTHER FEATHERS RISING TO MEET Y OU. SOME ARE MOVING AT AN ALARMING SPEED SOME ARE GRADUALLY CLIMBING , SOME ARE DANCING WAY UP THERE WHERE YOU ARE. AQUAINT YOUR SPIRIT WITH THE NEW ALTITUDE. ITS AS IF YOU HAVE BEEN ELONGATED AND STRETCHED TOWARD THE TALL TALL SKY (B)

YOU ARE A FEATHER LIGHT, AIRY, BREEZY ,ALWAYS CLIMBING UP TOWARDS THE WEIGHTLESS CLOUDS AND THE DOWNY SUBSTANCE OF GOD'S LOVE MATTER. YOU BECOME PORTABLE, LIGHT FOOTED ,AND ASTRAL READY . YOU FEEL LIGHT AS A FEATHER, NIMBLE AND AGILE. READY TO TRAVEL TO THE STARS AND NAVIGATE YOUR TEMPLED BODY. (B)

BENEDICTUS PACEM (BLESSED PEACE) BE WITH YOU.

Premium MemberYou Wear Away At Me

you wear away at me with your silence
not with whetted words
or physical altercations
there are no recriminations
No...
it's much more corrosive than all of that
this is the sad fact
apathy barbed in neglect
is the tool that you use
not aware it's abuse

how it scrapes and it grinds
determined not to leave anything behind
day after day
night after night
year after year
till the memory
of who I was dissapears

a little bit more every day
you wear me away
voiceless, I fade
silent in your silent tirade

only pebbles remain
of a once templed soul
and with a little more time
pulverized,
they blow away...
by the constant silent howling
of your loveless heart

No Roof For Reindeer Dub Bull File

parents or other nemesis with glare
ring (smoke emitting nostrils),
an idyll escape for this heir
to the throne of the mountain king,

     (lion share of original tract
     kept by Donald Neilson empire)
this make believe verdant submerged lair
unwittingly left gaping hole,

     when Gambone Brothers
     industrial machinery voraciously
     made clean sweep,
without a trace of former imp pier
     real resilient stately structured heart
of "Glen Elm" could no longer rear

the well built “grand Etta face dame”
     helplessly, holistically humbly
     brought to her knees
     (gory detail aye will spare),
nonetheless more
than one pearl jammed shaped tear

trickled down chafed
     sad reddened cheeks,
     whose head must veer
away asper thine subsequently
blotted out never never never land

     eclipsed by transient rubble,
thence vinyl city (dis) graced sacred space,
no doubt a great ache,
     when Saint Nick sought
     sought in vain for
     324 Templed throne every where!

God Speak and Song

God Speak and Song

You speak to me
In this templed place
Where lovely doves murmur from rafters
And little squirrels race.

Gratitude fills the heart with awe,
Leaves twinkle as diamonds
In the cool morning sun.
Whispering in a soprano breeze,

To songs of years gone by
When saplings reached their arms to the sky
Strong enough for roosting sparrows,
Shading small children from sun’s hot arrows.

Now new winged children make
Egg filled nests primordial in your boughs
Where mothers warble their love
Until they must teach their grownup tasks,

Freeing their babes to a hostile world
Tweeting and chirping Your hymns ,
Of songs through them,
Their prayers for Your loving safety.

Measures of Faith

Freedom in infinite latitude of grace
Answering questions life cannot face
Inspiring a victor's heart in salvation's race
Templed in the love of Christ, the joy to taste
Heaven as bread, and earn it as place.
                     ii
Measure to me all
The landscape of broken will
Indwell finite space

To endure the night
In raptures claiming presence
Of eternal day

Passing through darkness
With soul untainted, flawed light
Imaging glory

I hold with hands firm
Beyond the brim of eyes span
The great coming, here!

I behold in grime
Figures of hate, bruised and bare
Loving enemies

Earth is illusion
The kingdom is veiled by love
Absent from the heart

O Master, bless me
When night has no moon or stars
To walk in this light

To soar above fear
Treat a pauper like a prince
And sing to the cross

What I see transforms
Daylight is a prayer new
Night a song of praise

It is a gift rare
For opened hearts, and bowed wills
And love of the king.

In pain there is joy
If love's purpose tells sweet gain
So still I remain.

Martin Luther King

Martin was a man of mettle Kingly to the clan
Athletic in prowess the pristine preacher's son
Registered first as Michael, he heaven's rapturer
Templed his genius above the common A grader
Interned to Moorehouse, forsook a health degree
Nurtured in theology later and fed with philosophy.

Luster of tongue ladling a lintless mind, he shrined
Ultimate tenets of peace from Ghandi who went first
The tenacious trumpeter to black civil rights inclined
Hedged us morally in the discourse; demonized, cursed
Excess of Ham demanding a seat at the table of unity
Rightfully, because of Martin's new vision of mutuality

Klans folk fire bombed his church, and then his home
Incacerated, hosed, stabbed, the work tolled his life
North and South reluctant states of mind full of foam
Giving place to honor the gracious giant in this strife

Justice justly deserving his judicious capital journey
Reclaiming the promise with savant prose and oratory.

A New Day

Our lost love's ghost still lingers
As I try to start anew
I ask an anonymous God with templed fingers
for strength to get me through
I know what I must do

Scales of Mercy

Do not let the ray of his meek sun fa me shines alone So
Seek O, the favor of the Creator on his templed throne, eke
Favors of mercy Lattitudes of grace; lo the patient Savior’s
Heart pines through tedious days for us, rich joys to impart.
Do seek tenaciously lakes solacing familiar pains. Meander
In his goodness, his ray of peace shines for you. Flee the sin
Shackling us to self-delusions of pride. A doe may blunder
Before the hunter’s scope, but mercy renders a shift of wind
Raining reason not inborn, meaning for praise fore fallacious
Certainty of some evil heart. No weapon formed against you
Shall prosper. Lark the sky with praise, team hearts O to do
His will and sing: Doh te la so fa me ra doh, O Lord I am all
Prepared thy will know; through my night let bright rays fall.
Here me call when I groan: do ra me fa so la te do ... let me
Feel thy lattitudes of grace bringing me in embrace on my knee.

Stimulus Plan

Sin ravaged world free falling into emptiness and doom
Tentacled false cliffs of wealth on time's bluff:
Images of illusion, shrivelled leaf after morning's bloom
Messiah annexed from dream and devotion,
Ultimate giver of life and love, urging us through the fall
Latent in our secular aspiration, to reach beyond
Upward falling on bended knees, the templed trumpet call
Sovereign Master, I walk on water, as you bid.

Pilate's response was to wash his bloody hands, poor he
Leached of love so freely given, cannot prevent
Atonement for my way to heaven ... I have tasted glory
Nature and Word transforming desires in me.

The Will

When I am gone
When no more I deface the whitest page
With scrawls
Will you keep my words as my total wage
Withdrawn from life's bank?

I have nothing else to leave
Indigent all my life
Invested nothing but my love
Imparted through my words.
I give you all.

Let no silence or blindness break it
Little fragile flower
Lean your tongue against it
Ladening taste with desires
Love templed in a tender tropic song.
