Premium MemberSwollen Sore Heart

I've amassed a fair number of brown South Asian lovers.
In my mind I revisit one whom I slept with beneath covers,
As my swollen sore heart began beating ever sadder.

Premium MemberThe river was swollen

The river was swollen from the melting snow,
with rhythmic pulsing it ebbed and it flowed.
The earth was hard and still unyielding.
The man stood weak with shovel wielding.
There wasn't any one else to call.
The one hundred pound corpse had began to thaw..
One old lady and one sick man, and so they revised
their original plan..
It seemed at the moment a fitting order for their
boy who had so loved the water..
He had walked by this river, dug clams on it's shore
and now he was one with the river once more..

Swollen Sentiment

The moon
She creeps away
With the aging night

Swollen sentiment
Full to begin
Fading with the night

She'll be back tomorrow

Premium MemberSadden I Say- I Have a Swollen Heart-

She walked from me alone;
Left me at my home, broken;
And yes I have a swollen heart;

In time and in due part;
I searched my abandon, thoughts;
She had messaged my swollen heart;

Cold and callous, heartbroken;
Misguided words screamed yells misspoken;
Whom am I, who are you to deny;
My purple heart cries melts;

Like an ice cube in the dessert;
Such a hypocrite;

Left me at my home, broken;
And yes I have a swollen heart;
She walked from me alone ;

The sting of a wasp
Smacked me hard on the eyelid
Can't get rid of itch
Swollen,  scrape is so awful
Wasp drove me nuts; I can't blink

Head Swollen Mount Everest

Rest of the things on this Earth to grow Mount Everest to follow suit to grow by the hight of a school going child or to the hip from the toe of his father Mount Everest has come up nearing the galaxy of stars by 2.8 feet.

Skeptical Swollen Soles

skeptical swollen soles
tracing dark toes
on vying veins
of tactic trains:
lofty lousy limbs
etched in ink

drastic dances dripping
on seeps scrunching
in jumpy jolly

mystic melody birthed
embroidered with will
virtuoso concerto crunching

sumptuous soles stretching
la-de-da limbs lurching.

Floating On Swollen Feet

The yelling the screaming the fighting,

Vegetables are cooked but he pays no minding of efforts to disway the sighing.

Blood boils like the pasta in the pan,

Cooked for an always complaining man.

Air sucked from lungs constricting tight,

It's a wonder no one's been hurt with rage filled might.

Squabbling never ceases to amaze,

This young poet it certainly doth phase.

Wings torn off an angel without so much as a scoff,

It happens with a scream ever so soft.

Nothing really matters anymore,

No justice for someone treated like a whore.

Do what is ordered or you'll be out on the street,

All there is to stand on is water swelled feet,

Stand up for yourself or you'll never be free,

Just stuck in the same sail-less boat as me.

Swollen Pride

My big mouth
earned me a black eye
When I got into a foolish fight,
in the school cafeteria,
over a disputed last piece of pie
Came home and tried to hide
behind dark sunglasses
To my parents, I uncharacteristically lied
Such is the fate I suffer now,
puffed up with swollen pride

Bitten Lips Swollen Tongue

bitten lips swollen tongue
remnants of a love
swallowed sap
drunkenness of lust
miraculous moist moments
rounded hips
rustling of autum leaves
migrating birds
tense and turgid
coupling of hope and faith
singing water of love
