Premium Member Bulbs Among Sustainers

Set some goals
Set out bulbs
Bulbs planted in garden
Bulbs planted in beds
Beds filled with blooms
Beds are warm
Warm days bring flowers
Warm beds rest
Rest equals health
Rest for weary
Weary souls faint
Weary hearts mourn
Mourn love lost
Mourn departed
Departed is gloom
Departed is pressure
Pressure creates diamonds
Pressure can explode
Explode from anger
Explode from dynamite
Dynamite dangerous
Dynamite has use
Use has purpose
Use for things
Things for jobs
Things are inventions
Inventions make life easy
Inventions save time
Time passes by
Time is rationed
Rationed are minutes
Rationed are seconds
Seconds make minutes
Seconds compose life
Life is good
Life is granted
Granted are your days
Granted each year
Year makes lifetime
Year make one old
Old people die
Old people get weak
Weak seek God
Weak need help
Help comes from God
Help is a sustainer
Sustainers keep going
Sustainers are awesome
Awesome

Sir Laugh a Lot Jack E

Sir laugh a lot
Our P Soup jester
Offers highs by way of remedy
Pushing smiles for ill's that fester

Break of day smiles
For sleepy peepers
Wee hour hilarity for
Insomniac creepers

Family time funnin
With old Jack E
When dinner is done
Sure beats the TV

Because his Quatrains
Often come many a day
That delicate balance of
Wisdom and play

If not for Jack E where would I be
Those hours when sleep eludes
His happy nature though naughty be
In rhymes his loving soul exudes

His comments always lift us up
Make us feel like hall of famers
P Soup Email every day
Awaiting new poem sustainers

Love that guy with all my heart
He's sweet as sweet can be
Our own sweet Santa doing his part
A Canadian friend with a guarantee

For he'll be there in his easy chair
Thinking of how to blow our minds
Talk of old men in their underwear
And how all the pretty ladies do shine

He's a papa to the many
Young at heart though 70's old
Never met a man so friendly
A New Year cheers to his heart of gold

Emerald Furnace

Euphoric light bounces
from the countless gems
that nature produces after pillars bleed
withered rubies carried away by wind
to destinations unknown.

Here and there bursts a spark of colourful joy
in the midst of a sea so alive.
All shades of cold stone and dark
give generously to creatures
tracking on earth’s crust.

Spring brings with it the glow
of melancholic shimmer
across lush valleys and mountains high.

In desire after the sun’s warmth
these still sustainers of life
create a glimmer of beauty’s hope,
shedding bark to time,
carrying the mysteries of old,
enduring the trials of season,
slowly reaching to touch Heaven’s face.
Moving to the waves of wind,
aging to birds’ melody,
falling to the rhythm of our needs,
nature whispers into humanity’s ears.

Oblivion serves to blind our eyes to
an ecstatic dance of the emerald furnace.

Cosmic Dancer

Precious piety covers his face while
I`m tearing at delicately woven lace

Honest gardener works till the late hours
I deliciously debauch his innocent flowers

Creators, sustainers frown with a look of amnesia
Forgetting their brother is a worshiper of Shiva

Path

I sit here remembering times that have gone by
toward the end and near the beginning
the musical notes of my life
faith and hope
the sustainers of my path
the cartakers and builders
the moon and sun my light
the stars my many dreams
each holding me together
as the world around me crumbles
falls to pieces on my floor
my broken heart
slowly mended
as time slipped me by
as faith and hope kept building
and the sun and moon still shine
the stars still go on glinting
waiting for me to realise
that it is now my time
