Fear of the Outsider, the interloper, the alien
Is as old as humanity itself.
Xenophobia doesn’t just apply to someone foreign
And “not like us”,
It applies to anyone who may threaten
Our way of life, the status quo, the norm
And way “it’s always been.”
From local bar to climbing crag, surfing beach,
Ghetto corner, and Union shop floor,
The locals, sometimes multigenerational deep,
Tend to claim their turf
With the worst of human qualities;
Fear and loathing
Sublimated into snide ostracism,
Backstabbing gossip and withering looks
If not fully expressed with seething hate
Slander, bullying and assault.
Meanwhile life goes on for the Xeno
Head down, eyes averted, pathways diverted,
While in their heart
They recognize the love their haters have
For their cherished way of life and ground
Is not exclusive
And no different from their own.

The political biochemistry of triumphs and defeats
Lives its spasmodic life
Consisting of precious milliseconds,
Precise calculations and brutal muscle power.
But this bodily activity
Doesn't mean a thing
Without the reports, the flags, the anthems, the politics of international relations,
Without the sensational exposures,
regularly supplied by biologists.
And what is left for those who are not involved in the world of national vanities,
A world of deadly grudges and the will to win,
A world of flag-waving and sublimated hatred, even in those who imagine themselves observers?
None of the above, actually.
Our victories have long since been converted into ordinary days.
When half an hour passes in ten minutes
And evenings linger until dawns
For no apparent reason.

“There are many "cures" for depression, some of them are drugs from a pharmacist, and others are creation by a loving God.”
Earth life being about feeling contrast,
along with joy, we experience pain,
which if sublimated, cleanses soul’s stain
and so although destiny’s die is cast,
dwelling not on transience, that does not last,
in the womb of love, fears to rest are lain
and embracing life, we dance in the rain,
seeing no cause, to fly our flag half-mast.
Breath by breath, grace of God in heart aflame,
vibrant soul frolics in the void carefree,
accepting gracefully, both highs and lows,
recognising earth life as but a game,
wherein when with pulse of love we agree,
our heart in repose, strikes a blissful pose.

Life is the epithet of unique existence,
the construct of divine elements almighty designs
with the heavenly essence suffused
in the coalesced trinity of body, mind and soul.
Trying to get released from the egoistic clasp
of karmic destiny, leading to loss of the sense of self,
the perception of the pervading divine conscience
transcends the space-time limits for inward journey.
Beneath the convolute layers of the clouded mind,
at its inner depth soul perceives the awareness dawn,
creating the holy linkage with the absolute,
and comprehends the meaning of existence.
As the divine lotus serenely unfurls within
with the perception of His endowment of nirvana,
beautifies the sublimated life with heavenly adornment,
the supreme then assimilates the undying soul.
Devoid of the body and with the acquired intelligence,
the liberated soul transcends the mortal existence,
reaches the realm of eternity to realign
with divine consciousness for which we are here.

Looking at the page of the book
I got to know where our tears went;
were vaporized in the air
Sublimated to be white crystals and snowed;
On a dim stage
These snows were transformed into human figures;
Dancing lightly and solemnly
In a ceremony of purification;
The universe
Wished all the tears of sadness to vanish away;
Wished all the tears sublimated and
All hope for the happiness is heard;
Appreciating the encounter with their dance
I stepped forward

A miracle appears
in your eyes,
Every time that
you smile...
your smile is
a prodigy of
happiness that
is done in me...
it's a revelation
of love !
My heart
sing inside
upon receiving this
meaningful message...
It's an omen coming
on the wings of the wind...
and he comes himself
check your smile...
Fins out that when
you smile, me, the sun, and
the wind we are
spectators
stunned, dumb
of this divine moment

Of the ancestral crystals,
the spirit is outlined in
shapes and contours ...
Asleep ore,
so it begins.
Circumscribed to vegetable
dreams of the future ...
Almost dreams then
plant ... yearns
animal ...
Animal wakes up ... retarded
but rational ...
So we arrived
for debugging ...
So living, passing,
coming and going ...
For one day to conquer,
to continue conquering ...
To be finally sublimated
in angels .. on the way
forth the light...!

Our work is a brilliant masterpiece
The quality is exquisite and pristine
The talent undeniable
It's the artisan, projecting our personal imagery
We admire the attention to detail
Some might suggest a gift from above
“The work” - our sacrifice
It's a true labor of love
However; just beneath the surface
Secret stories unfold
The work is about our life
Sublimated into beauty, to admire and behold
Some are intoxicated by the images
We romance and fantasize
We get lost in the work
Perhaps a rolling landscape, under a mid-century autumn sky
Beautiful works can arise from inescapable experiences
Pain can consume or inspire us to create
Don't forget, while we’re lost in the artisans work
Congratulate the painter, not just his paint
Life is our canvas
We all paint with our unique imagery
A masterpiece of beauty and imperfections
Our work - a life story about you and me

Being attentive & observant
We become sentient
To desires the moment they arise
Nipping them in the bud before they rise
Meaning thereby we catch them in mid air
Such is our dexterity and unmatched flair
The desire flows, neither repressed or sublimated
Yet contained harmlessly as not yet precipitated
That state being thoughtless
In the void of no-thingness
Is where Shiva manifests!
