Stain, Statue and Concert
Reading a poem about a horse
with a stain
on the author’s page. Patron
ate something saucy,
as he read of a war statue,
forking or spooning
probably pasta or slurping
poetry, precariously, I ponder,
as I wait for the oven timer
to deliver dinner. Deviled
ham quiche - the aesthetic
embodiment of
eggs & cream, cheddar,
onions & cayenne
firmly held in its shell.
I’ll eat in the

Say Less
Keep caramel hope in your sweet heart
Let it guide you despite days so dark
The Statue of Liberty may shed a tear
But we shall not be moved from here
Salty smiles vile white wicked words
Try to knock down what you heard
Content of chocolate character on display
Never mind the hate be you you’re great
If you weren’t why

STATUE OF LIBERTY BOW OUT
Let me get out of New York
Bags are packed
Deportation fact
It’s time to leave
People of New York, don’t be deceived
I stood for come and all
It now is no more
Leaving the New York City shore
Enough is enough for sure
Getting out while I can
If I was deported, I would probably be sent to France
Fat chance
Hudson River is my

Stone Statue
If you think about yourself,
Your soul might fade away.
This life loses meaning, drifting day by day.
If your heart turns to stone, devoid of grace,
Among the statues, you’ll find your place.
A stone statue won’t warm the body’s core,
It keeps living souls from coming to the door.
Humans forget the good in a short time,
But treachery, you

Stone Statue
If a person only thinks of themselves,
They lose the meaning of this life, like a dream.
If your heart turns to stone, cold and unkind,
Among the statues, you will surely be found.
A stone statue does not warm the soul,
It does not let a living being approach, at all.
Mankind quickly forgets the good,
But betrayal is something they

Ice statue of love
Ice statue of love
Walk, walk in the ice land of Antarctica, just walk and walk
Walk alone, walk here, and walk in many places before it
Walk and walk, looking for something, can’t find anything
So cold here, minus seventy degrees Celsius, oh it’s good.
Walk and walk. A super light beam flashes! What happened?
A huge snow explosion went

A statue and their town
A statue is standing in the road. The center of town.
Still, silent
A stone. An outcast, watching the world around them. A silent spectator.
Empty. Empty are the streets. Empty is the town, flooded with identical houses.
Empty are the markets. The aisles of food.
Empty are the complexes. Apartments galore.
Empty are the woods. The nests and caves.
Empty are

Statue
At the park, there’s a man built of black stone
He stands shamed with an indifferent rifle that yawns at the sky
His stallion is frozen in gallop, to be forever majestic
In the sweltering day, the man stands
In the shivering day, he finds no reprieve
Lore tells; that an anchor dropped at the edge of the raven’s ocean
And

Statue of Lost Liberty
Unlike her eastern twin of the ocean,
she’ll shed no tear for the lost and alone.
No emotion for the wretched masses,
because her heart shall be as hard as stone.
In her fist she’ll carry no bright beacon,
to call those huddled masses to her shore.
She’ll tower above a locked iron gate,
no golden path stretched out before her

Copper Statue of Limitations
Or somewhere
where we go
when the birds we hope are guiding us
Follow a path
that’s been created
with pure intentions
When the birds are calling,
find me following
where the water goes
It flows
like running words
through my mind
If only I could find a way
to make the words
mimic the birds
and fly

Liberty
Wrapped up as a present,
delivered to a new home.
Inside of its own wrap
she wanted to be shown.
She stands up there,
proud of herself.
She looks everywhere,
to welcome the new future.
Many people try to look
inside of her, others,
just take some pictures
