Say Less

Keep caramel hope in your sweet heart
Let it guide you despite days so dark

The Statue of Liberty may shed a tear
But we shall not be moved from here

Salty smiles vile white wicked words
Try to knock down what you heard

Content of chocolate character on display
Never mind the hate be you you’re great

If you weren’t why would they try
So hard to discourage with lemon lie

There is no point in beating dead horse
The ancestors anointed you of course

Your skin is a blend of all who were denied
Say less licorice lips and more ebony eyes
