Liberty
Wrapped up as a present,
delivered to a new home.
Inside of its own wrap
she wanted to be shown.
She stands up there,
proud of herself.
She looks everywhere,
to welcome the new future.
Many people try to look
inside of her, others,
just take some pictures
for a new album next to her.
She talks but nobody listens.
She teaches about pride and liberty,
in a deaf school.
She's a hero from the past,
and everything to be searched for,
in our present and the new days.
A present that needs a new freedom
inside of everyone of us.
A reference surrounded by waters.
Always a guide to help to discover
the liberty lying inside of us.
