Star Sign Poems | Examples

CAPRICORN

Checked up on my star sign.
Cardinal sign, it says.
Can’t wait to get things done;
Cautious financially;
Could be considered mean.
Cancer was my partner.
Could not last the distance.
Form: Pleiades

Scorpio

Scorpio the star sign
Sincere but be careful
Scorpio’s are jealous
So you better beware
Scorpions will sting you
Swinging tails of anger
Sensitive and loving
Form: Pleiades

LIBRA

Lilian, a Libra,
Looking for lasting love,
Liked Les and luckily
Leo was his star sign
Looked good until his wife
Laughed at the suggestion
Lilian? Still a spinster
Form: Pleiades

I am looking for a new place to begin again

I am looking for a new place to begin again, to start fresh.
It seems I am always looking for such a place,
even when I am okay with where I'm at now.

Others tell me ‘what you seek is within’ and ‘no place will make you happy unless you are content with yourself’.
However, I feel it’s within my nature to want to begin again, and begin again once more.

Like a writer turning over a page, writing a new chapter,
I am looking for a new place to begin, a new story awaits and an exciting next adventure will be written.
I am forever the mountain goat climbing, like my star sign, the Capricorn,
I am stubborn, determined and desperate to succeed.

If not in this place, I will keep climbing until I am there,
wherever there is.
You see, I am looking for a new place to begin.

Mere Words

your Cinderella act renowned
rolled the years
friendly relations strained
Your star sign estranged
pity donned your smile
making me a stranger in your room
Rainclouds ascendent
mere words never enough

Premium Member A Little Goats Dream Nursery Rhyme

Once a little goat with a small horn,
Wanted to become a unicorn,
She wished and she wished every night
And prayed and prayed, it might
Come true, I want to wish on a star,
So the next night they saw one far,
But although so bright
Gave off little light.
Look mummy at that grass over there,
Please don’t stare,
For they might run away, fairies
Right next to the bush with berries
I’m going to send them a whisper
Mummy kissed her, ooh your whisker
Tickles mummy, suddenly three
Fairies flew by her side what do you
Wish for most, as you are of the few
That never asks, whatever you wish,
I want to be a unicorn, please
They waved their wands with ease,
There stood the prettiest pink unicorn,
Gone was the small horn,
Replaced by a twirly one,
The little goat girl now an awesome unicorn,
Her star sign remained Capricorn.
She had a fluffy mane
And her eyes were blue, insane.
Oh fairies I love you so much
Your wands and their magic touch,
What can I do for you.
and you and you,
Listen to your parents and be a good girl,
And thus your mane will always curl!

Premium Member Libra: the Aesthete of the Star Signs

Lips lustered with Venus-enchantment flirt as
Imagineer steers your swoon to the Moon on a love song..
Beyond oneness with another, the lover and artiste
Relishes color in counterpoise to white rising light, and so flows
Abstracts across a sunrise canvas to laud a treaty ‘tween night and day

Virgo

Virginis incorruptus*, like Georgie's ax, we cannot lie,
Instinctive Leo in descent positioned Libra's meant vie,
Reliable, efficient, rational, and passive ally,
Grossly stubborn and sarcastic, calculating by and by,
Overthinkers, worrywart...best and worst, we identify.

LIBRA

Loyal and true, a friend who will be there and will always care

Inspired by nature, who is creative with talent and flair

Building on dreams, perhaps so long ago left behind

Romantic, passionate, gentle, sweet, and kind

Always seeks to keep peace, never to malign

Scorpio

Selflessly loyal to those I love but stubborn to a fault
Creating poetry, paintings, and artistic projects I exalt
Once touched by love, my heart is totally devoted
Resolved to honesty; intolerant of being misquoted
Perplexing, emotional, quite mysterious, and although
I am a water sign, I don't always swim with the flow
Opinionated but my sentiments, I hesitate to bestow

Vitality is brimming; also diplomatic -with a smile that is winning,

I’m logical and grounded, for I am Zodiac’s maiden - married to the earth.

Relaxation Virgos crave; with such nervous energy, we tend to worry,

Grappling with decisions – always keeping busy; but we also like to clean?

Oh, my, that part is not ME. However, quite the Virgo, I love practicality.

An archetype of self-mastery and perseverance
Prepared always to take discerned control of destiny
Ruled by the planet Saturn, the strength of trait lies
In the innate sense of duty and responsibility, making
Capable achiever being ambitious and determined
Oriented toward contemplation with inner awareness
Regarded as down to earth, practical and pragmatic
Not faltering to face with fortitude the days of winter.
