STAN THE SQUIRREL
In Texas, there lived a squirrel named Stan,
with his six-gun, he defended the land.
He challenged coyotes to duels,
and outsmarted the local old fools,
wielding justice with his special brand.
With a hat made of leather, quite grand,
he scampered and leapt like a cowhand.
He chased off bad guys and crooks,
with his acorn-filled hooks,
outdrawing the best, Stan’s in high demand!
All those in love please raise your hands
Holy crap that's amazing more than I'd planned
Who woulda guessed
Every poet and yes
Love's taking over or my name ain't Stan
In 1958 we saw the end of an era.
Mused the Curtiss Wright scholar.
he told a crowd of people
that an America that didn't
trust in the newness of creativity
would see a day were only exterior machines
would be looked at as something American enough
to be bought. Standing on the Promises of Yesteryear he
saw using the brands of yesteryear as the way to
move America forward.
He talked of reinventing the way we travel.
By moving the design forward
and never looking back.
Not using the samples of yesterday: but
creating new product under a Brand Name recogniable
enough to create family oriented appeal to modern auto's..
Bringing people together in the ailenment of futuristic design.
Creating quality Auto's and Luxury Products
were people from all ages could be proud to spend and buy.
The aquistion of Parkard motor Company:
to create from the sketch pad, a product
that would rival all companies. Building both
handcrafted timepeices
and the manufacturing of
products that would set the standard for quality
across the globe. He ended his speech
saying" Packard: where have you Been!"
THE GREATEST
Cup-winner Stan
Still playing on at thirty-eight,
Inch perfect crosses on a plate;
With shimmy,side-step and dazzle
He left the full back in a frazzle;
An aging hero with twinkling skills,
A pro sans modern day frills.
Stan = Stan Mathews of Forties football(soccer) fame

Stan's desk is neat
So is his home
His clothes are pressed
His hair is combed
Day and night he works
No time for play
R e l i g i o u s l y
He plans his day
Stan goes to church
Head bowed, he prays
And so do I ~ God, please
Make him go away!
STAN THE METEOROLOGIST
Somewhere in the presents of the mist;
This young man Stan decided to enlist;
In a primal it rains way,
shining brightly the sun's rays;
Dehumidifying natures nist, what a tryst twist?

LIMERICK POEM TYPE
Young Stan, the 'People's Man,' led a protest
'Gainst all the 'rape and pillage' by the West --
Demanded reparations
For indigenous nations --
His 'White Privilege' left Stan dispossessed
A panic buyer, name of Stan,
will grab each bottle, jar or can
and leave the supermarket bare.
(No toilet paper? Stan was there!)
His house is full...he buys some more,
and cannot squeeze inside his door!
The readjustment was the hardest part
Not leaving the war zone
Or coming home back to his country
And to his wife and family and friends
But actually readjusting to the fact
That fact that he had no legs
He left them back in Iraq
Not as a war victim or injury
To a vehicle accident instead
His Hummer left the road and rolled
He was lucky to escape with his live
The medics took him to the hospital
It was touch and go but he made it
The army will pay for his recovery
And give him a pension
Plus a pair of tin legs
And keep him on the books
An advisory role for future wars
He did ok from his accident
But readjusting is still hard
This is his new normal...
A loveable man was Janitor Stan
Ever willing to help to give and serve
A gentle man of modest plan
With never a protest, frown or reserve
Always saw the brighter side of life
Though his cards were not dealt from the top of the pile
In that testing game of blood and strife
Played them with a cheerful acceptance and smile
When his ship foundered in the South China Sea
Then held guest by the Empire of the Sun
With hosts of stern hospitality
He confronted his fate ‘til the contest was won
Later asked about pain and hardship faced
His reply: “it was a beautiful place”
There should be a special place
In one’s heart and mem’ry
For people who have brightened one’s life
In addition to friends and family
There’s a special place
In my heart and mem’ry
For two special and unique people
Like “Stan and Ollie.”
He created The Incredible Hulk and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Stan Lee has died and it has devastated millions of his fans.
He also created The Fantastic Four.
But he didn't stop there, he created even more.
Fans are sad because he didn't survive.
But he did have a long life, he was 95.
If it wasn't for him, the X-Men wouldn't exist.
He was loved by many and he will be missed.
[Dedicated to Stan Lee (1922-2018) who died on November 12, 2018.]
There was once a little girl who loved snow,
one day, she was rolling snow, oh heave-ho;
and soon she had a snowman,
and she called him stuntman Stan.
At night, he did limbo and fandango !
In the mornings he was found upside down,
it was told, he had been drinking up town;
dancing hip hop and disco,
and even desperado.
Then, one sunny day he had a meltdown !
