When the world loves you
You heart beats to a musical tune
You like you whole body
You have engery that soon Take you to the moon
You feel every sunbeam Hit your soul with esteem
Your smile light up the dark
You frolic in the park
Each bite of your daily meals
Hits a ravishing tongue in the feels
You have a great day In each and every way
You can't not be brought down
You love for your friends and family to come round
You wake up in the morning with a spring in your step
You could be patting your beloved pet
Hugging sends vibes to your soul
You feel young you will never grow old
The way you walk is effortless
The forest is calling you to de-stress
Your morning coffee is divine
You take a sip of the finest wine
And think about how great it is To truly be alive
Shortness of breath, the struggle with stairs
The paranoid thoughts, of judgemental stares
Tomorrow I'll start, next week I will too.
The person you're fooling can be only you.
You carry on, each day just the same.
Every week again and again
No planning, no prepping, just take and away.
Spiralling down, delay underway
Hoping and dreaming, I'll do this one day!
One month later, a burger, a pie
Feeling low, as life passes by
Outstretched clothes, low confidence too
It's now your decide to do this for you!
You take to the web, to find nearest group
Hoping and praying "Please not only soup"!
The hardest part? First step through the door. Always remember, who you're doing this for.
You meet all the members and go through the plan.
At this point you realise, "Oh yes I can".
Now weighing and measuring, healthy A & B
The change is incredible for all to see.
The feeling of pride, the spring in your step.
It's now you can't wait for what life brings next.
It hurts
when people like your friends
more than your friends like you.
It hurts
when you’re so disconnected from a sense of self
that you start to mimic
the thoughts of others.
It hurts
when you used to have that spring in your step
and that twinkle in your eye
but your fire is gone.
And you can’t love anymore.
As nature awakes
from its long winters rest.
The warmth from the sun
puts a spring in your step.
Surrounded by beauty
below and above.
All woven together
by gods hand with love.
I breathe in your rhythm
You comfort me
I smile at your cadence
The spring in your step
The way your eyes dance when you see me
I caress your plaid jacket
It makes me feel safe
When I am alone.
But I see your smile
And I feel your positive presence
Even when you are not here to see me.
If eager finch in flocks through hedges sow,
they burn with crimson blaze on country lanes;
yet look like flaxen ropes that twisting, flow.
This could be me when summer sings refrains.
If darkened lakes with troubled waves reflect
a dying forest's fractured tree that shakes,
then time is stretched and taut with tether flecked.
It could be me as late october breaks.
If swallows ghost in autumn's growing shade
and scissor night with scarlet skies that flee;
they welcome darkling eves as stars invade,
where shadows slowly dance, it might be me,
but earth's just-spring then feeds the winter’s fast,
exploding green reveals my core at last.
May wonderful things come your way.
That is my wish for you today.
May your hopes and dreams become all true.
May your heart be nurtured through and through.
May you see your loved ones who have passed on.
They will come in dreams, the second you yawn.
May you walk with a little extra spring in your step.
May you have an unusual amount of great pep.
May you have a lively, exciting, thrilling day.
People will run toward you to laugh and to pray.
I wish that the most wonderful things will come your way.
Hopefully a terrific friend will come and play.
Hopefully all the best of the best things will happen for you.
You will get to do things you have always wanted to do.
What’s up!
A little bit of me, I do hope so
What’s got in to you!
A little bit of me, I do hope so
What’s come over you!
A little bit of me, I do hope so
Hope I’m not pushing my luck
I know sometime I’m a little flop
But hopefully you’ll have be once again
After all you’re a true adult friend
Plus last time you seemed the best you’d ever been
For the first time since I’ve known you
Your body actually gleamed – I’m hot
You sizzled with such a glow
You warmed my heart, tip to toe
And on top of all that, for the first time ever
I saw your gorgeous green eyes sparkle / glow
What ever has changed in your life I do not know
But you’re looking the best you’ve ever been
New bed, plenty of rest
New diet, a spring in your step
New pills, added vitality
New guy, first date, lucky for you I do hope so
I don’t know, but what ever it is
There seemed a happy contentment, sheer bliss
Please can I come to see you once again
Fingers crossed the answers Yes!
His icy grip comes loose at last.
His blanket cannot but recede,
Like tides that breached a floodgate, he
Her coming can no more impede.
She saunters in, a slow sashay
enrobed in freshly scented cape
that wakes the buds and songbird tune
as shades of shamrock swathe the scape.
It is no place for charcoal greys,
and barren boughs on colours feed
Like tides that breached a floodgate, he
Her coming can no more impede.
As much awaited zephyrs blow,
you sneeze out pollen, heartbeats pep
The season’s vibes can’t help but show..
A spring for the journal.. spring in your step.
As waves in the ocean, reach high and low
Life will bring changes, as you come and go
But you must embrace both the good and bad
You must not go back to what you once had.
Tho you might be stuck in the here and now
You must gather your will to move on somehow
The path has been cleared, and troubles are gone
Once again healthy it’s time to move on.
As the sun rises, your strength rises too
The day lies ahead, bad days bid adieu
A spring in your step, a smile on your face
You may start out slow, but you will soon race.
As waves in the ocean move toward the shore
Peace lies at my feet, who could ask for more!
Some people enjoy traveling - so moving is a simple thing.
Others detest it greatly - and all the stress it does bring.
Most people don't stop to see - if moving was the right course to make.
Or by evaluating their options - a different path to take!
It was back in 1998 - when my marriage flew apart.
I was torn and broken - a huge hole inside my heart!
Having moved to many places - only one stands out to me.
There I found my true family, a purpose, and my Spirituality!
The people I moved in with - truly made the house a home.
From this new found family - I did not ever roam!
Who knew way back then - how much this would mean to me.
How peaceful and content - that I would really be!
Who knows what fate has in store - when we need to move.
Put a smile on your face, spring in your step, and get into the groove!
That one address change - has brought me boundless pleasure.
And the riches that I've gained - are truly beyond measure!
Spring in your Step
There's a little more Spring in your step today
The sun sooner rising takes the cold away
Hands moved forward on the dial
More of a blossom in your smile
Daffodils popping with yellow say
Spring is here today's the day
Renewal once again begun
So go outside and join the fun
For those of you who still have snow
and the temp is zero or below
Have faith and soon you'll join right in
And Spring for you will soon begin
This ‘mourning’ was the first summer’s day,
The sun awoken - awakened, but unlike yesterday it’s weakened,
Its glow usually vivid but now it flickers and mercifully fades.
Albeit the season whereby the sun rises and ever lasts, even in late evening whereby the sun’s shadow is always cast. Today is summer, but today is very different to those of summers past.
Unable to wake, unable to rise - not a cloud to be seen, just a vacant sky. There will be no more autumns, nor a spring in your step - and you have experienced your last winter of discontent, season of regret.
The light of your sun radiates here on earth no more, but lest we not forget, the sun is one of many stars, so albeit one now rests in darkness, one rests amongst many stars.
When nothing brings you down
You have a spring in your step
A sappy smile on your face
No one else matters, only him
Thoughts of being alone
No longer bother you
Broken heart is mended
The void filled up
Great pain and sorrow
Replaced with a great love
Feelings of self-doubt
Replaced with a love so warm
Found a love so great
In a special man
Has given me hope
Joy and peace
