I sleepwalk sometimes.
They all say I do.
They all say that’s bad.
I wake up, and I feel like something horrible happened.
Like- I think I’m alive still, but everything is shaking.
It feels like I’m going to walk downstairs, and the lamp is broken somehow,
Like- the house was robbed and I didn’t notice, but I’m clairvoyant so I know it happened.
Yes, there’s a mess and they’re yelling, but it was just me this time.
I was sleepwalking so I was being weird.
I was sleepwalking so I made a mess in the kitchen.
I’m not weird when I’m awake.
I’m hallucinating when I’m awake.
But I pretend I’m not.
They wonder what’s going on in me.
But they just think I’m a sleepwalker.

Drenched in a dream bringing life to your smile
Restful endeavors as night comes to call
Slumbering deep beneath flannelled intentions
Hugging my pillow in spite of it all
Reaching for shadows that follow a moonbeam
Lost in your arms as my heart skips a beat
Seeking your lips for their warmth I am craving
Finding the taste so invitingly sweet
Hearing your voice ‘cross a valley of echoes
Singing along with the love that I feel
Melodies ring of an enchanted vision
Sensual harmonies found to reveal
Come to me now as the stars start to glisten
Whisper your passion my soul longs to keep
Make me your own in the throes of affection
Take me tonight as I’m soundly asleep

Deep inside a witch’s cave resides an old-school witch.
Crumbs Witch despises the sniveling excuse for Halloween
Humans present on the Thirty-first of October month.
She prefers genuine Halloween celebrated by the witch’s council.
Furious bonfire popping and cackling greets the guests as they arrive
On old-fashioned broomsticks without the mess of dyes and tattoos.
Old school witches not messing their brooms up with new gadgets.
They greet each other with fist bumps, shoulder rubs and power zaps.
Crumbs Witch begs them to go back to their old magical ways.
To bury their I-pads, so they can return to their ancestral ways.
Old school witches sing ancient songs and cackle around the fire.
It is her favorite night ever!
Crumbs Witch sleeps soundly, feeling alive again.
Not realizing the rest of the witches are playing word games
on their I-pads, making fun of her behind her snoring back.
A Shadorma
My soul has
earth roots tunneling
down into
earth’s belly,
swirling, curling round about,
among creatures there.
My heart rides
their elevator
going down;
deep into
mother’s sheltering, calm womb
and drinks eagerly.
I have swum
womb waters fathoms
deep and dark;
dank caverns
where most humans never go;
embrace her heartbeat.
Oh Gaia,
sacred Mother Earth,
nourish me
until I
can hold no more and my roots
fill your heart soundly.
I wake from dreams where terrors creep
I wake to realize I'm not asleep
No - little girls don't sleep at night
They strain their ears - eyes wide with fright
With hopes of hearing Angels fly
Oh please dear God - PLEASE not tonight
But only my pillow hears me call-While God sleeps soundly thru it all
Rock-a-bye baby - please don't cry - Daddies gonna sing you a lull-a-bye
I hear his footsteps down the hall
His breath I smell thru door - thru wall
His laughter echoes in my mind
I close my eyes so I'll be blind
Hush sweet darling - don't make a sound
or daddies gonna knock you round and around
Open mouth - but silence falls
Screams go unheard thru lonely walls
No one hears me - daddy don't
No one hears me - mama won't
Only my pillow hears me call - While god sleeps soundly thru it all
Rock-a-bye sweet child - now don't you fear - CUZ DADDIES GONNA LOVE YOU FOR YEARS AND YEARS.
Soundly He Sleeps
His mother taught him how to be a good provider
I haven't met anyone else kinder
He has always worked hard, leaving his body in pain
Day in, day out, he never complains
He is such a good husband, I am so lucky
I love you everyday, spoken so easily
Hugs and kisses given to our daughters
To them dad has all the answers
A man to him needs to stand up and be responsible
Fights for what he believes, he is unstoppable
His only worry is that he can never do enough
I ease his mind, he doesn't always have to be so tough
Evening comes, he sleeps so soundly
Starring at his face he is resting peacefully
All I can wish is that his hopes and dreams come true
Do everything possible to help because I love you

the sun shines in your smile
your eyes the color of blue sky
your touch warm like the rays
you start my day
the moon glows through blinds
the stars blanket cool skin
your voice the whisper of a mountain breeze
when you say "good night baby"
love sleeps soundly in your arms
Soft cuddly kitties sleeping soundly,
in their beds dreaming of chasing birds
and mice in the morning.
Windchimes Ringing Soundly
Windchimes ringing soundly
all the
watchfires
have been lit and the
Maiden is now dancing
slowly by the pit.
Time now has no meaning,
love has come to heart,
Indian is dancing now,
wandering in park.
Someday they will meet and then
never will they part.
Windchimes ringing soundly.
