The Black Mistress

Black Mistress
That's what I'm suppose to be
Oh, no not me
I'm not coming second to another woman
No woman is coming before me
Black Mistress
That's what I'm suppose to be
Come get your clothes if you can't spend the holidays with me
You live with her not me
Black Mistress
You want to buy my love when you want please
Oh, no not me
I have my own and I'm not selling my goods to no one but I'm still not cheap

And We Drink!!

With a shot and to a swallow
To chilled from within
A pint with frigid golden jumps
To this a game begins
The orb, a cup shall swallow from
A coin crashed drown to win
A deck, a hand, a cup lift up
In more we drink again!

"the Dope Man's Symphony of False Love"

"The Dope Man's Symphony of False Love"

YOUR SO sweet, your so cute
is what the dope man will say to you
you'll sail the dope and bring home the dough
and no one will need to know
we can make all the money in the world

just us two
just me and you

just give it out to all your friends for free
and when they come back
take it from me
its money in the bank
and watch them suckers pay

and that means money, me plus you

don't worry about the Man
i got your back, its we and you
this what we do~

you got to know the game
you got to walk the talk
because when the streets
come a calling is there
really love?

The Deafening Silence

There is an explosion in all of us, we try to keep hidden away
But when we decide to get even, everybody must pay
There are so many things wrong people tend to ignore
The people in and out of our lives, the screaming next door
The ones we pass by on the street
One of them becomes a victim, than on a gurney covered with a sheet
Another shot fired, it becomes acceptable violence
What becomes un easing is the deafening silence
Some people hunt for a living, others for the thrill
Humans being the worst animal, thou shall not kill
An old lady conned out of her pension
A nobody takes hostages to draw some attention
Kids bring guns to school to settle scores
Now we have metal detectors at the doors
Is there really such a thing as a safe environment
Don't be fooled by the deafening silence
I remember when Bicycles, Hotwheels and for the girls Barbies were the
greatest thing
Now it is all about the latest cell and the bling bling
Rap Artists, Rock Stars and movie Moguls are what influence the youth of today
It seems there is always a dragon for mom or dad to slay
Kids go wild without our guidance
The answer is not the deafening silence

In Debt Blues

My cheap wine is the only thing I buy
I'm so broke I can't afford to cry
I'm so deep in debt, such a long way to get out
The in debt blues is what I'm singing about
I work for the man, I'm as poor as can be
I have no chair, no couch or tv
You can never win, if you always lose
I've got them bad, the in debt blues
Debt relief says give them a call
I'm so stressed I light my last Pall Mall
I need help, so many bills, I'm so confused
Someone please help me get rid of those in debt blues
Cabinets are empty, not a crumb in the house
Slim pickens for all, including a mouse
Cabbage water to drink, cabbage to eat
I can't recall the last time I tasted meat
No socks and worn out shoes
I just can't seem to walk away from those in debt blues
Bill collectors calling me each and every day
You have to face up to your issues, can't just run away
now I'm reaching out, hope it's not too late
I pray I haven't sealed my own fate
I ask what is a broke and poorly educated man to do
Let me cleanse myself and wash away these in debt blues

Your Body Can Break a Man's Bank

I look around and it is you I see
A girl who is a stock market catastrophe
You are a high risk investment that won't pay out
You put on your makeup like bathroom grout
I have no idea where you fall in the official rank
But your body can break a man's bank
So what you have changed the color of your hair
Your personality is a car without it's spare
Keep in mind, this is just me and my point of view
You are that piece of meat spit out because it was too tough to chew
You are the left over beer that wasn't drank
But your body can break a man's bank
Your face is like a painting that looks good from far away
Men still flock around you to my dismay
You are the results of an out of hand prank
But your body can break a man's bank
The perfume is not hiding the fact that you don't bathe
That tells me it's not cuddle time you crave
I give up, be straight with me
You are from the gutter, but men treat you like the queen bee
In a word game, your brain is the blank
But your body can break a man's bank

Take Me Out

Take me out to the Brawl-game
Take me out where it's loud
Buy me some ammo and some crack,
I don't care, who we attack
Cause it's Roto-Rooter for the losers,
We'll flush them right down the john
Cause it's fire one!
Fire two!
Fire three!
And your out,
Of this old brawl game!

"hold On Tight"

"Hold On Tight"

you put in on me
and my heart
three times over beats

you know how to
rub up on me
when we meet

you
ask me how
you doing little mama

and then our eyes meet

and you can tell
that its you i need

you put it on me
and my heart
three times over beats

you know it you i need

and i try not to for get to breath
because you kiss are so sweet

  (man voice)
little mama
little mama
hold on tight to me
hold baby
hold on tight to me

you put it on me
and my heart
three times over beats

and i feel it all so good
oh
oh
no way i can every let go

you put it on me
and my heart
three times over beats

I Can Relate To the Struggle

I have been where you are now, I know how life gets
depressed by your situation empty pockets
and every thought you entertain contains illegal means to get green
for this American dream

I can relate to that stress I know that times get hard
I started out hustling and latter learned to rob
and my squad for the most part were misunderstood
young dudes confused looking for man hood

I found this in my old file cabinet I sure it has to be at least 10 years old

Through the Wire

He dares to be unique,
Standing out from the conventional crowd,
Breaking the fashioned pattern-
Of all typical rappers of today’s age;
He dares to reveal his beliefs
He taunts all that conform with his lyrics;
Knowing the imperfections of the world
But it is more that he-
Verbalizes them and the importance of improvement,
He preaches his words-
Through the wire.

The Lost Man

Identity Crisis!? We Fight it,
Thinking, no one will see the candle, If we don't light it.
Loose Ourselves in daily survival,
Don't read the bible cuz the times not there.
Work all day saying life an't fair.
Bad attitudes, bad moods,
People pass by, and can't even look you in the eye.
Why?
What happened to Hi, Good morning, Goodnight,
How you doing, is everything alright?
Were on the defense, rushing life and fighting death,
It don't even make sense!?
Were not that different, were just so distant.
We lost unity and compassion,
But most of all passion,
What happened?

Baltimore City

No Love in childhood, it's understood why we love our hood,
Raised by the village so I feel it,
Afeni says a child needs knowledge in the realest,
Everyones a teacher, so I listen to hear it,
Keep my ears to da street, cuz it speaks as it rots,
wit drugs and cops, posin mixed wit rock,
On my Block, You either survive or get knocked.
This Man we call Tube Socks, Lives outside 711,
wit a sign that says waitin on heaven,
Cant give um cash, cuz hes on crack, wonder why he gotta be like that?
Sometimes I just stare, wonder why hes there and Im here.
It was tough growing up, I saw to much to soon,
Seven years old open the curtain in my room
see a gang out back, always said I'd never be like that.
But life changes like a river,
and I became a fiend for the liquor,
Get high and Prophesize while smokin da swisher.
Don't think I'm a saint, cuz I'm just a sinner,
I see da bigger picture, its all connected,
Im to young to understand it, but I try and respect it.

Hey There Ash

"hey there ash" by jamal scott

HEY THERE ASH
WHAT'S WRONG WITH US
MY HEART IS TREMBLING LIKE A CITY
ALL OF THIS LAND LOOKS SO PRETTY
I CAN SAY THAT I'M STILL WORRIED
BUT I KNOW U HAVE IT GOOD
I THOUGH U WOULD

HEY THERE ASH
I'M WRITING A CLASSIC FOR BOTH OF US
SO WHEN U COME BACK WE CAN LISTEN TO IT ALL
SURVIVAL IS ALL I THINK ABOUT NOW
I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE A LONG TIME BEFORE U TRUST ME
BUT GIRL I SWEAR I MAKE EVERY SECOND COUNT
DON'T LOSE ME AT ALL
I'M TRYING HARD NOT TO FALL

OH WHAT U DO TO ME
OH WHAT U DO TO ME
OH WHAT I DID TO U

HEY THERE ASH
THIS IS NOW OR NEVER
I GOT TO TELL U THIS
BEFORE I SAY GOODBYE
JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES
HERE'S YOUR SURPRISE
IT'S ME IN A DISGUISE

OH WHAT U DO TO ME
OH WHAT U DO TO ME
OH WHAT I DID TO U

I KNOW THIS CITY GOT COASTERS,TRAINS,AND CARS
TO TAKE ME WHEREVER U ARE
IT'S NOT TOO FAR
I DON'T WANT TO FALL
SO ME AND U CAN STAND TALL TOGETHER

Tragedy

On April 26th I was born,
In a world more than a hundreds years scorn, No healin' up
They sho' was pealin' up, casted the line and they realin' up,
Pullin me round on a string puppeteerin' us,
Didn't know how to discuss the way that I felt in my mind,
Isolating thoughts of much steer my wheel from time to time,
I thought about the shine only making in worse,
College things, engagement ring Im throwin' in the dirt,
Miseducated young miss in this game, I write, rap, produce, and sang,
Not just for fame, but for talent I was given, tellin my life as it comes,
Wondering why we all is stealin, killin, thizzin, robbin, theivin,
But inside Im greivin, wonderin when a change gone come,
When Imma be leavin? I been in chains for so long,
All the soldiers that went to war, they aint come back home, they aint come back
home.

Waging War On the Beast

You can't entice this mind of ice
leg locking , vice device stalking
full aware of the ware's your hocking
digging for gold with hook and chisel
i'll put the fizzle in your sizzle
flame you out without a doubt
i'll show you what i'm all about

Think your clever unaware of never
ain't happenin' bytch this losing endeavor
i'll pimp your pimp and then your mother
and then that pimp if he's your other
you read the wrong book now you got took
your chapter and verse will be your hearse

Slow road to lonely , just another trick cloning
the same 'ole shyt and still a phoney
money hugging , cheese grubbing
rat in disquise and o-h I dispise
the way you smile and make your play
believin' your charms will make me stay

Your just the Beast with many mask's
real strength is what you lack
you wait until I turn my back
and then attempt your lame attack

Look me in the eye you Beastly bytch
then we'll play your bait and switch
you outplayed yourself with this game your playing
now you're stuck and you'll be payin'................
