refugees

Refugees
I know of a forest where all trees are equally tall
and the distance between them is strangely wide
is so they can get the same amount of sun and
rain will fall evenly on plants and mossy ground.
Trees grow fast here next year, harvested
 and a new sling planted.
For the birds, rabbits, and foxes that had made
a home at what can be called a new estate will
have to move or find shelter in the old forest
that is full of thorny bushes in deep shadows and
and vulgar boars that never had a bath unless
caught out in the rain
Nests will be too near others, and there will be squabbling
rabbits and foxes have to make new burrows
and they will be snubbed by the old dwellers who
will call them lazy or even worse, the new rich should
They have shiny fur or colorful feathers and will
not be sent a Christmas card that year.

In Marked Territory

Fragile, delicate, beautiful thus rare
Three thousand meters above sea
In marked territory, listening to
Gurgling downward flow of
Waters of the sacred hill
A precious bloom stays
in the shades of tall trees.

A three feet high plant
Shy of sunlight,
Shy of plundering human hands
Shirui Lily, a pale pink bell-shaped
Flower that carries many tales
Shows rainbow colors
Through Microscopic lens.

Snubbed for being
So very mild, a lily
Not seen elsewhere
Bows gently to tell
Mother earth –
If I ever live
I live only here.

Premium Membertrying to start a boy haters club

I decided to start a little boy haters club
it is something a twelve year old can do right?
all the other girls left me, so here is the rub….
they ran to the enemy, the ones I wanted to fight

They did not tell me, simply left me alone one day
sitting under a tree, while with the enemy they went to play
I was so angry, I declared myself president and secretary too
sitting by my lonesome, upset, angry and blue.

you can join us, one of the girls said later that day.
I have forgotten her name, it might have been Kay.
I was so upset, I snubbed her in a notorious way.
Killing myself forever, by never being able to play.

Premium MemberI must have promised

I must have promised to diligently strive
to get up each morning by half past five.
Drink my java, watch the news, keep
things quiet and let her snooze..
Wash up at our bathroom sink but keep
the faucet trickling so she gets a full drink..
Serve her a chicken pate dish, never meat
and seldom fish..
If I'm met with defeat offer a few temptation treats.
Brush my tresses and her hair, bless her with
a St. Anthony prayer..
Once the sun is fully up, let her out to strut her stuff..
When I forget or show some slack, I'm actually snubbed
by my very own cat!
I'll be sticking with this cat's agenda, heaven forbid I
might offend her..

Premium MemberThat Fatal Year

2023 brought sorrow that broke me. Death defeated thoughts who say we’re unshakable, stronger than death. We want to think the end, for us – for our people, is inconceivable. Yet, death calls and we must answer. It refuses to be snubbed. This year brought more personal dealings with death than I care to remember!

"The worst feeling is to be ignored once, then twice,
then again and again by someone you consider precious."
                                 by Betsy Kenton

Life's bittersweet lessons have taught me well
that on the ones we love most, we should dwell.
Not chained or tethered as a master to his slave.
Love, given freely will not yield reason to grieve,
but if neglected, a broken heart will perceive
the bond's been broken and passion it will waive.

Do not express your tender words of devotion
and later tell me you were wrought with emotion.
I'd rather not have known the taste of your lips
if now you ignore me with indifference and neglect.
I'd walk away from you if treated with disrespect,
if what you once felt is in the state of total eclipse.

Love can bring tears of sadness or joy to one's eyes.
To be slighted or snubbed can lead to ardor's demise,
but to be cherished in love's embrace fulfills the need
of nurturing each other as dew sates a flower's thirst.
Being slighted by someone you hold dear is the worst
feeling when the roots wither after planting love's seed.

"An infatuation can grow into a steady affair through love and marriage, but if weakened through silence and indifference, love which is magical can prove critical too" ~ By Poet

An emotion born through chance
A spark lit through glance
Fanned through appearance
Grown through acquaintance
Confirmed through countenance
Blazed through romance
Interrupted through absence

Steadied through alliance
Tested through penance
Decreased through silence
Weakened through defiance
Exhausted through indifference
Worn out through intolerance
Snubbed out through violence

And ended up in divorce!

Are You Real Kind Leaders

So called kind leaders
Who care for their benefits
Than the lives of snubbed folks
Are you really kind?
When you are told
the truth you encrease
your anger and  your hearts
augments volumes
Then you think to convince
The realists about your fake kindness.
Hahaha!haah!
Just be  familiar
with the truth dears.
Be cool like cold
apple and grape juices
And your name will be joyous
On earth and in the heavens
Because you accepted
To come out of ovens.

A Smart Warrior

How good is it when
You know what you want in life
And focus on it.

A good warrior
Roars and does not have time for
Useless attentions

When it comes to fight
for the rights of snubbed people
Who need  total peace.

Stagnation

In a dream, I was on a mission.
A mission to rescue a nation.
A nation in a quagmire.
A quagmire not as usual.

A high mountain, I had to climb.
Climb it, in its nakedness.
Nakedness and grassless up to the crest.
Up to the crest, it was slippery.

Up I looked. It was all stiff nature.
Nature hindered me reach the peak.
But the peak was my target.
Target to reach and take a rest.

Middle way, odd winds blew me back.
Back, I snubbed to go rancid.
Go rancid or move up, I decided.
I decided to climb up.

Up, I failed to progress. Down, I sat.
In my laps, my head I buried to think.
Think as new energy I gather.
Never, up I shall give.

Heat's Passion

Repulsed this heat's passion
Fanned a face, from off.
In diving, less demure
When half one's clothes doff!

Snubbed, scorned this archetype
Of burning kisses
From under leafed bough. Whilst
His, never misses!

Winter On Gypsy Road

I’ve seen you in warm tender of blanket
With the hug of frosty night you slept fair
Thru the pinky neon light came there a cat
Coolness of dark city snubbed its care

The grogshop closed the door of thirsty wine
Jazz music went too far ended the night
With the rising sun the dew smoked in brine
Blue jay crest lied behind with poppy flight

No snowball, no snowflake over the sky
With the sunny time no crystal fog played
On classic twilight winter hailed warm pie
In the tepid dawn cuckoo termed to date

The blanket of darling now in safe shelf
Cause, winter on gypsy road by spring help

Strange how we accept the lies.
Strange how we ignore the cries.

It’s strange watching fascists claim their pride for soldiers who died fighting for what they now justify.
It’s strange how we allow the lessons learned in our hard fought history to be snubbed for what the elitists ‘earn’?

Strange how we live our lives, ignoring the plight of our people as long as ‘us’ and ‘ours’ , ‘me’ and ‘mine’ can survive.

It’s strange what we’ve become. Accepting lies and deceit as the word of rule. Accepting the needless loss of so many lives and watching the destruction of our greatest institution before our eyes.

We will be remembered as the generations of life who were fooled, who were weak, who were broken by Tory lies.

Premium MemberCalling All Angels

Do you struggle with burdens?
Are you drowning in despair?
Does a web of negativity permeate your air?
When you travel down life's roads, on your journey, that quest, and God
has clearly put you under deep duress.
Remember those beings that you swatted like flies,
those people out there that you demonized?
Wouldn't it be a wonderful surprise to find they might be
angels in disguise?
It might not just be people who loved you and you loved,
what if it was also those people you once snubbed?

Calling all angels. I know I've had a few.
We can't always see their wings but they hover near you..
Be some body's angel. Soften a heart that's known betray.
You might earn those angel wings before you go away..

God, Unbolt His Heart

In the morning, innocent lamb left the farm
Behind his master, moved to the meadow
A treacherous chapman loomed him
In his purity, he listened to chap’s distorted words
As sweet as honey, they lead him astray his master

Naively, guiltless lamb was led into a deep hole.
Up and down, lamb looked; this is life as well.
He sat in the fleapit all day long like a mole
But never thought of a dump but another dwell
Mother sheep baabed to lamb’s deaf ear in hell.

Lamb’s meekness has been exploited to death
And in the deep hole, safe he believes he is
As time comes, he’ll be on knees to look up
For God to unbolt his mind and unclutter his ears
To remember many hearts, he has snubbed.
