Premium MemberA Friend Is Like A Lighthouse

Amidst the rocks on the edge of the land
Casting its light, a faithful friend stands.
Low in the shadows of the crests and troughs
Lies hidden danger when seas are rough.
But this lighthouse spreads it's loyal beam
To alert captains to what can't be seen...
A metaphor for a friend like you
Who generously lights up those around her too
Who shares her light of joy and love;
The darkest shadows you rise above.
Thank you for reaching out your hand
Like the faithful guardian sheds its light from the land.

Premium MemberOF OUR SNOWBALLED LOVE

OF OUR SNOWBALLED LOVE

Let our love not be
Like a snowball in a fire;
But a deep freezer:
Solidified as can be,
Even in the hottest times:-

Premium MemberTO BEING TREES OF CHRISTMAS

TO BEING TREES OF CHRISTMAS

It has been scripturally revealed to us,
That trees are known by their fruits:-
Let’s seek to be as trees of love,
Producing nourishing offspring
Of the onederful oneness
Of our God’s equity,
In the garden of life,
Nourishing the Godness
Of our human equanimity:-
In the onement of life’s being,
As we sojourn in its garden together,
Let us seek to be as Christmas trees:
Forever sprouting holy cones of God’s love:-

Premium MemberBe Like Water

Like a seed deeply asleep in a pot of soil,
I lived life peaceful and still without toil.
As the seed grew, every day I poured water,
I too grew alongside it, in a frame of forever.

Like a teabag filled by hand of green leaves,
I look back on memories of all days, eves.
As the teabag floats upward in cup of water,
I realize I too will rise up soon without falter.

Like drops of water evaporating to the sky,
I see forward to times I am no longer shy.
As the drops return, I'll appreciate life more,
For I'm like water in every form, never a bore.

Like a lost soul, I was drowning for so long.
Now I see to whom it is I'm meant to belong.
As I save myself, breaking surface of a pond,
I realized I cannot abandon my sacred bond.

Premium MemberCELESTIALLY GRACED LOVE

CELESTIALLY GRACED LOVE

The day has its sun,
And the night, its moon;
I’m blessed to have you,
Each day and its night:-
For your love is as
The cosmic beauty,
Reflecting the shiny glow
Of God’s divine light:-
As you are the ever glowing
Sun and moon of my heart,
May I likewise be of your heart:-
And may God forever grace us
In this onederful onement of
The oneness of our love:-

Premium MemberJOURNEYING WITH WISDOM

JOURNEYING WITH WISDOM

Like the sun and its being,
Wisdom knows no dimness;
Her light is eternal, and where she is,
There can never be ignorance of darkness:-
For like the sun, she shines forever bright
In the inner sanctum of the ego of mind:
Inevitable truths, flowing like an enlightening river
From the valley of the womb of God’s infallibility,
Forever birthing the living word of the tree of life;
With the divineness of guidance always available
To those seeking her cosmic counseling:-
And may the source of wisdom’s floating river
Forever stream the depths of the valley of my spirit,
Spewing service to all, in dedicated labors of love:
My wages, her flowing baptizing waters:-

Premium MemberTO LABORING IN FAITH AND LOVE

When love is working,
hate is busy challenging;
faith, busy winning:-

Where love is working,
melting away all despair,
hate is as ice in the sun:-

In labors of love,
injustice is defeated;
and justice is won:-

Let love’s heart lead you:
the fuel-pump of your courage,
justice’s compass:-

Be a love worker,
dismantling oppression,
building liberty:-

There’s crucifixion,
and there is resurrection;
be God’s laborer:-

Premium MemberLIKE BEES

Hived souls in oneness,
 Sweetly working together:
 We should live as bees:-
 In divine labors of love,
 Let us collectively live:-

Premium MemberOF ANOTHER DAY'S DAWNING

OF ANOTHER DAY'S DAWNING

Like sunshine of day,
again I have a dawning;
labors of love waiting:-

Premium MemberUMOJA

UMOJA
(A Kwanza Triad)

Love's the greatest gift;
It's the harvest of Christ;
Nourishing oneness:-

Like fruits and their seeds,
Let us be in life's onement;
Ripening in oneness:-

In love's unity,
Let's live in oneness;
God having us be:-

Premium MemberApple of My Eye

Apple of My Eye

Psalm 17:8
“Keep me as the apple of the eye*, hide me under the shadow of thy wings. “

Chorus:
Apple of my eye
Baby, please don't cry
I'll keep you safe
I'll carry you
And keep you as the apple of my eye

Verse:
We fight against wickedness in high places
Every Christian faces…
The darkness…
Never sleeps
Sometimes we know defeat
Under His wings we can hide
In His love abide
Until we're strengthened once again
Climb upon His lap
Tuck your head beneath His chin
Close your eyes
Listen to His lullaby

Chorus:
Apple of my Eye
Baby, please don't cry
I'll keep you safe
I'll carry you
And keep you as
The apple of my Eye

Premium MemberAs He Slumbers

He sleeps like a koala from seven to eleven.
While I'm here simply left waiting and wondering just when
Is the specific time that I can even speak to him again.

Premium MemberAs The Hours Pass

Though time, like us, is separated
Into many hours and minutes,
Even our arms, like clock hands,
Will someday meet again.

Premium MemberBeyond Her Lips

Through these lips
sorrows pass
bound to slip
seldom last.

Behind smiles
secrets said
all the while
kept in red.

Whisper cries
from the heart
tender ties
love may start.

Lipstick likes
to make marks
takes all types
to send sparks.

Touch these lips
don't dare miss
passing ships
with a kiss.
