Sid was a bit of a slob.
Was lazy without a job
He liked to eat
Anything sweet
That's how he became a fat blob.
Sid a sedentary popcorn
Married a pretty unicorn
They went for walk one day
Sid was crushed on the way
Unicorn was left with a corn

Note : Corns and calluses are hard, painful areas of skin that often develop on the feet in response to pressure or friction.
gone are the days with Sid & Nancy
nothing to fancy
to smile among the leaves
left barren to help even the score
a call for more
tender rose shake my hand
hopefully someday you will understand
And you keeping giving up and I keep giving in
This is why Adam and Eve have sinned
I dig my nails into your skin
I bite your lip until it sinks
That I am here to stay for you and for me
And when you fail to see the links
That keep us hung and hanging in
I’ll make sure to grip your hand and take you in
I am your Nancy to your Sid
I travel a fistful of miles to attend
Your weekly sessions, and
The journey is always worth it.
I thank you, Guru Siddhartha Telang
For the gift of premium-free
Meditation--and sometimes yoga!--you
Bestow on Saturday mornings. For
Guiding me to terra incognita and back
With soothing words and music.
I thank you.
For the exceeding generosity with your time
My new-found metamorphosis, my cup
Overflows with gratitude. These titles I'm
Sure you'll modestly reject, but to me
You're a sage and a "Guru"
Thank you very much, indeed....

He was born in Yonkers, just north of New York City.
This man grew up to be funny and witty.
While working in a luncheonette owned by his family,
with the art of patois, Sid displayed proficiency.
As a funny comedian, he made his presence felt.
Sid got his start in upstate New York in the Borscht Belt.
As a saxophonist, his first job was at the Vacationland.
He became an influential member of the hotel’s band.
With the late Imogene Coca, he was a television pioneer.
On Broadway and in movies, Sid would also appear.
However, alcohol and barbiturates nearly destroyed his career.
A recovery brought him back into entertainment’s sphere.
Over the years, many awards and recognitions came his way.
At the age of ninety-one, Sid Caesar passed away.

I thank both wikipedia.org online encyclopedia and variety.com for information
I obtained to write this poem.
A great Jewish football player
Led the Bears to a 73 - 0 win
My late father and my uncle
saw him play
Not too many Jewish football players
But there was one - a great one !
As the years pass
his memory fades
But on TV - the electric warriors
Continue to battle on !
P.D.- Sid Lee
When will you reveal to us
Your mysterious androgyny?
