My Yuletide joy is
To feed poor and hungry ones
Come in from the sleet
The parents humbly thank God
Children sing the song Noel
Don’t stand beneath the mistletoe;
you’ll get hit by a rocket.
But if you’re going to kiss the girl,
keep helmets in your pocket.
Yuletide stockings hanging high,
Filled with candy, toys, and more,
Never knowing what’s in store,
Christmas day is here!
Eggnog
A creamy rum concoction, flammable as the yuletide log!

Adour of sublime facade
pulchritudinous!
The Yuletide Season is with us once more
The season of love and the tales of yore
Warm good wishes
Gentle hugs and kisses
Love and hugs is forever assured
She arrives with a mystic charm
Gliding in on silver moon
With a peaceful vibe that oft disarms
As words of praise in yuletide tunes
Echo where the stars are strewn
IMPROVISED CHRISTMAS
yuletide in trouble
at a thousand feet – burn out
hear old saint nick shout
“round up some huskies
for the trip get them well fed
christmas by dog sled!”
A gift
of snowflakes
on Christmas day
as I unwrap all my
presents
Singing
yuletide songs
drinking eggnog
kissing 'neath the mistl'toe
joyful
Whirlingly swirlingly

Carolers singing "Rudolph the red nose reindeer"
as sounds of jingling bells float through the air
It was Christmas Eve and she felt the crush
While last minute shopping in the Yuletide rush
Fragrant
Bouquet of flowers
Adorns the yuletide table
Smiles so wide
Linger on the faces of all
As they sit to celebrate

Tiny grains of sand and silica, swirl across the beach.
The travelling tides, wash away, all traces of human life.
Every few seconds the beach is renewed; sand castles are rebuilt.
Winter calls
on cold nights
as snow falls.
Seasons please
with bright lights
on fir trees.
Sleigh bells ring
as grand sights
the joys bring.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yuletide bells chime~
frost-kissed air hums silver echoes,
a hymn spun in ice.
Deep beneath the muffled snow,
roots dream of resurrection.
Snowflakes kiss their wings~
Yuletide fairies spin on pine,
laughing silver light.
One whispers in my cupped hands:
Winter's magic is your breath.
Early settlers loved it
November
A small note concerning November.
It’s the month for “Remember Remember.”
Curb your Yuletide proclivities,
Put a lid on festivities.
Because Christmas belongs in December!
Praise be
To Thee
Yearning for a kiss
Underneath the mistletoe
Leaving a year of bliss
Expeditious as the snow
Take the time to reminisce
Infatuation for tomorrow
Dashing are the sights of Christmas
Expectation for the year to follow
i dreamt passing through eden's bidding gates....
walking down glittering streets
a gathering of charity's lifted souls....
yuletide hearts rejoiced glad
angels praised his goodness....
poinsettias circled round his blessed presence
Bob Cratchit, while slaving late alone
Tricked his boss by posting a framed clone
Of Ebenezer loaded with Yuletide cash,
Which was really the miser’s hidden stash!
