Hosed, he may not win, piehole’s constricted.
Food tossed into pipe, and wedged.
Yet, with save, he’s unhinged.
Some think that the word poetry
should be tossed upon the shelf,
and wedged between two angry bookends:
'what' and 'ever'.
beak wedged in white noise
twigs of legs snow-plant
plumage in the air
body borne invisible
muse contemplates wholesome bird
I’m sitting here with nothing to write
And feeling rather uptight
Got my head wedged in the door
Hitting it with a 2X4
The lights getting dim and don’t seem so bright
Sue got wedged on the exercise bike
And she doesn’t look so lady like
With both legs akimbo
She looked like a bimbo
Told the trainer to go take a hike!

An in-patient named Mustapha Dump
Said his faeces were wedged in a lump
His diet must improve
So the blockage can move
Or his treatment’s a huge suction pump!

One For The Road
In the circus I mastered some arts.
Butt the unicycle - sad farce
its seat tightly wedged
when I hit a low hedge
needed help to pull it from me ****.

bitty boy bored
wedged between babysitters -
queen is celebrant…
prince-heir bides seventy years
beholden crowds cheer his crown
Santa Claus goes down the chimney
and pays the price; he ain't skinny.
He's tightly wedged down the hole,
yelling not Ho! Ho! Ho!
Ouch, that's gonna bruise a kidney!
In His great slumberous periods
Mighty yawned, wedged in between
Love taking sips, beat ardours
That haze a hummingbird scene
This awaits, shaping comforts
Voluptuous settee.
Set on its coral paws to bear
The dreamt fruits of Deity.
brilliance bona fide in redolent skies
keen red submerging, clementine twilight
sunflowers show-offs of the waning sun
wedged within burnt orange escarpments
swifts of volcanic horizon in desert crags
old West crush corralled in surround-hugs
An overweight lady named Annie
Has got an absurdly large fanny
Since she boarded a plane
That is destined for Spain
She's wedged in the seat in Miami!
Thanks to Andrea for helping me with the meter for this one

Two Sweet Gums wedged side by side
One of the two has died
Crimson leaves of the living left
Life and death side by side
Stark bare limbs of death against blue
Still reaching for the sun
Gradually the limbs decay_fall
Never leaves where begun
Commodities.
Packed up
Wedged together
Shut out from light and air,
Little creatures indifferent to life or death
Stacked.
Branded.
Horrified
Of what comes
With the open door.
Looking for the first opportunity
To Leap
Escape
This intolerable life.
The Mass grave
Of a two-dimensional reality.

Thin shards of time spattered about
Mis-wedged into spaces that add to our doubt.
Echoes of time vex and puzzle our souls
May overlap boundaries with science unknown.
Slivers of a girl’s laughter with no girl around
Sound disturbingly eerie and deeply profound.
a curvaceous lady from Lubbock
was distraught at the loss of her duck
her search was in vain
poor duck was in pain
found wedged in the cleft of her buttock.

poetry takes refuge
in the depth
from every corner, every recondict...
Wedged in the middle of the rock,
in the middle of the woods,
at the height of the mountain of life...
The poet must access
the core, its fulcrum to show,
polish to carry to the world
to the universe to humanize it
bright and glowing
for all...!
What will you say tomorrow
Because your calm lies were wax wedged wings?
How do sweep salty sorrow
Away with songs the nightingale sings?
You wounded me deeply, yet
I shall not regret my silence, dear
Nor my love by which you set
The diamond sparkling a false tear.
Let us go on forgetting our pain
While we dance in summer's rain.
Squeezing hands
Winking eyes
Making faces
Going places!
Delighting in found-gardens
Wedged into settings urban
The world about us, wholly ours
Strangers' smiles, no delusions...
Not too much wear and tear on this
though it's surely miles and miles ago ~
But could it be that stretched before us
lie many miles more to grow!
whimsical windswept whiteness
wedding weekend wanderlust
willowy wonderland waltz
wrongfully weathered woe
wintry wishful whispers
wrestling woodland wintertide
welcome waxen wallflower
weeping wheezy widow
whimpering wholeheartedly
wrangling worthless worries
wanton wretched wrongdoing
wedged within wickedness

Shards of tears
engrave memories
like a tattered glass
recalling years scarred by desire.
she went mountain climbing
too high, gasped, got
wedged like a pinched rose
then hoisted by a fish hook in the jaw.
he did 60 pills in 60 days
still uncured, he grabbed a feather
tickled a powder keg
and exploded.
this marriage was a crown of thorns.
sane story squashed
worn wanky clashed
wielded wits flung
leering lanky lust
strained sanity snogged
pilfering punctured pawn
voluptuous vie wept
cremating callous crest
bruised biddings belched
pruned passion puked
dark dribbles drooled
clutching crazed clue
wedged wiles wailed
taunting tampered trail.

Cottonwood tree wedged between two buildings
Being whipped by the wind rubbed against two
Ruff surfaces, how can survival happen
Constant change occurs never able to reach
The destiny God had prepared for you
Dwarfed roots constricted needing room
Room to grow, room to express yourself
Is it to late for someone to save you?
Only God knows your future not man
Form:
I am so consumed with subtle rage.
I feel it clogged in my pores,
wedged in the creases of my bones.
It is caught in my teeth and settled in the lines of my smile.
I shouldn't be this angry all the time;
He contributed directly to the cultural environment that made participation in deportations, discrimination, and ultimately genocide seem moral and patriotic.
I am.
This urge
Go, Run and hide…
Perpetual EMOTION
Maybe bliss on the other side?
Wedged on the fence,
scratching holes in my soul.
Shimmy up, shimmy down.
See how low you can go…
Reach a plateau,
Rest a while.
Until, perplexity surrenders…
Perpetual MOTION
Maybe bliss on the other side?
This urge
Go, Run and hide…
Perpetual EMOTION
Maybe bliss on the other side?
